East 26th location - you need to hire some better people. Front of house was fantastic. Staff and Food was really good. Speakeasy- nice bar but 1 VERY BAD bartenders. Snotty, very slow and very unprofessional I will never go back in that room. After 25 minutes to get a basic drink all he said that it wasn’t a dive bar when I asked why it takes 25 minutes to get a drink. Any dive bar would have had our drinks in less than 5 minutes. Had a karaoke room reserved for 2.5 hours- was told we would have a waiter/waitress or two. Had to go find someone - no one ever stopped by on their own. Very disappointing - had 35 people come for a 50th bday party- I may go back for food and the front of the house, but speakeasy will never get my business again and the karaoke room will not be rented by me again either. When the group I bring spends 1k or more in an establishment you would expect better.

We had an extremely disappointing experience at the South End location on Saturday May 4 from 5p-7p. Karaoke: Although I reserved the Rock Star room well in advance, they did not notify me that the A/C was BROKEN! The room is supposed to fit 25 people max which MAY be possible if no one orders food, but it was IMPOSSIBLE with no A/C, therefore half of our group just stayed outside by the bar which defeated the purpose of me paying $100/hr for my group of 22. Service: Although the servers themselves were very kind, it took forever for anyone to check on us for additional drink/food orders, they kept forgetting to bring our drinks and they didn’t clear away our food after eating! The food: TERRIBLE. Luckily my group was just happy to be all together celebrating so we made it work, but I will NEVER return. Hopefully this review helps someone before reserving for a large group!

Just had our annual holiday work party and was severely disappointed by the customer service provided. The food was good. The wait staff was helpful. We rented a private room, my company spent hundreds of dollars only to come out to two of our cars being towed by the restaurant’s hired tow company. I’d be more understanding if it wasn’t a Monday night. I would have been more understanding except where one car was parked-there was no signage for required paid parking. I would have been more understanding if one car, that did pay, hadn’t been expired by FOUR minutes. The expiration time was 9:25, the car was towed at 9:29. Why are we paying hundreds of dollars at a restaurant that allows for this to happen. I completely understand towing on a weekend or even Thursday and Friday. That area is notorious for people parking and walking other bars and events, but on a Monday….they’re going to allow this to happen at their establishment. Honestly even if our cars hadn’t been towed, it’s not good enough to have gone back.

I may have written two reviews in my lifetime and they have been positive. This experience however was not. Two of us ordered 6 wings, sweet and mild. One patron’s wings came out cold and she switched for a taco instead. I attempted to eat my wings, but they were covered in sauce and heavily breaded. I informed the waitress that I am unable to eat these due to the amount of sauce and requested to switch to another flavor of wings. Several people had ordered the other flavor and the wings were decent. The waitress told me I can’t switch them and if I do, I have to pay for the wings I currently had and the new wings I switched my order for. My friends asked her what was the difference with the other person switching. She said they can only switch if something is wrong. According to her, these were not wrong, I just don’t like them. I confirmed with another employee and he said he asked the manager, and that was the manager’s response. I essentially was forced to pay $14 for food I did not eat. I was also nauseous for the rest of the night. Never will they get my business again.

the restaurant was not impressive. It was Expensive. It’s In Southend area which is what you are paying for. Super young and loud crowd. ?

I was really looking forward to eating here :-( there is no table service and the average entree and a size small is $21 and every side is $7 or more. That just crosses a line for me. I'm not spending $30 on a meal that I order at a country and eat a picnic table. Bummer!

Get the meats - tacos aren’t worth and confusing menu in general. Chicken wings good.

First time at a Korean restaurant so really don't have a lot to compare it to. Pretty busy after a Charlotte FC game, but didn't wait to long to order or receive food. The portions were very good. I got the wings and they were enormous, I couldn't even finish my medium size order. Very good and pretty spicy. My wife got the tofu and enjoyed it. I think this place would be best to come with a large group and splitting a bunch of different types of food.

The service is terrible the consistency is all over the place some times you’ll get a decent meal but most of the time now it’s terrible. I use to go here all the time and in the last few months this restaurant drove itself off a cliff. Find somewhere else!!

Don't waste your money on a private karaoke room here! Very small selection of songs, nothing is in English, and equipment doesn't work. Staff doesn't care because credit card is required to reserve room and they will charge regardless of equipment works or not. Don't waste your time or money on a business that doesn't value customers enough to fix their equipment or the experience for customers.

Seoul Food Meat Co. has decent food but terrible management. We visited 12/29 with a party of six to have a nice dinner. Everyone was having a great time until we realized that two of the items at our table were placed there by mistake. We are not sure if they were from another table's order of if they were made by mistake. However, we were informed by the manager that because we had eaten the food that we would be charged for it. I spoke with the manager to ask for a discount on the two items that we had not ordered. I asked for a 50% discount on the two items only (they cost $26 total). I was planning to tip the other 50% to the server in case they made her cover the cost of the mistake. The manager refused and blamed us for eating the food. She threatened that if we did not pay for the full amounts she would call the police. And then she proceeded to do so. After the police came, the manager finally agreed to discount 50% on the two items after the police talked to her. But then she reduce it to 30% right before she charged the card and did not tell us. We only realized after reviewing our copy of the receipt. At this point the restaurant had closed and we all just wanted to go home. We left a generous tip because we felt bad that the servers had to work under this manager. Mistakes happen, but restaurant managers should not call the police on paying customers.

My dad spent a lot of time in Korea while in the military. We took a different route & had Korean food for his bday on Friday the 10th. We chose this spot over the one next door because my dad didn't want to have to cook his food himself. We were greeted promptly & sat at the bar near the back patio. My dad wanted to see sports; they accommodated his request so he could watch tennis. A young lady who was a server (not ours) came over & thanked him, saying she forgot that tennis was on. My dad got his lemonade right away, but it took a little while before we could put our food order in & I had to ask our server (a brown haired guy) for something to drink. All of the food we ordered was good. We definitely had leftovers. My dad wanted bulgogi, but they didn't have any as a stand alone entrée. I ordered multiple things that included bulgogi & a few sides: bulgogi kim bap; kimchi fries w/beef; bulgogi spring roll; pickled devil eggs; loaded potato salad, & bulgogi taco. We didn't order corn but it came out with our order. I ordered 2 sides of the spring rolls, only 1 came out with the order, & I think I paid for 2 orders. The vibe was good for a Friday night. A guy sitting next to my dad was very pleasant & gave my dad some other suggestions for places to try with good Korean food. We look forward to exploring & maybe returning here.
