Lived in Chicago for 53 years before moving to SC. Just finished eating a beef sandwich from Wrigleys Italian Beef and it was amazing. My family loved them too and some of them couldn’t finish theirs all. These are huge tasty sandwiches and authentic to those I still get when I visit friends in Chi-town.
Delicious! Best Italian beef sandwich I've had since I was a kid living in the Chicago suburbs (Jake's Pizza). This one may be even better. I met the owner, Mike and shared some memories of towns where we both lived in Illinois. Small world!
I felt like I was a tourist in Chicago while eating this sandwich. The sandwich was full of Italian beef and tasted awesome. I would highly recommend this spot for authentic Chicago style Italian beef. This gem is located in one of Charlotte's many food kitchens for small business restaurants so its strictly take out. But you won't be disappointed.
