Great variety of food which is well prepared and delicious. Just as important, an honest and well trained staff. After purchasing a takeout order last Friday I only discovered three days later that the bank card I had used for the purchase was missing from my wallet. Called the restaurant and they had safely secured it in the office. I was quickly able to retrieve it. Thank you very much!!
I am Cava man. So when I got to The mediterranean restaurant, saw the variety displayed food, I thought, wow, food heaven.
I loved the flavoanle and delicate taste of brussel sprouts, red thin cut cabbage, tiny cube beets, white rice tomato/cummber/opinions, arugula leaf, and flat warm bread, not mention the strawberry drink really

The food was good. I found hair in my food. I took it back. Thank goodness I didnt eat it. The manager sloppily made me a new bowl. Apologized and have me a free baklava. I dont know how I feel about the nonchalant demeanor though.

My pita was served in really poor condition — overflowing with an excessive amount of pickles and poorly assembled (see photo). It felt careless and rushed. On top of that, the service was extremely unwelcoming. The woman who served us had a very rude attitude and made us feel uncomfortable for even asking basic questions.
While the manager was polite, the overall service was unhelpful and unpleasant. We genuinely felt unwelcome throughout our visit.
What makes this more frustrating is that we regularly go to another Yafo location in Charlotte, and they are consistently amazing — great food, friendly staff, and excellent service. This location was the complete opposite and fell far below the Yafo standard we know.
Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this location.
