This was my 1st experience & I had it through the app Too Good To Go. I ordered two plates because I wasn't sure how big the plates were or what would be inside of them (this app gives you surprise items) & to my surprise, they were big & HEAVY...I kid yall not! When I picked up my order, getting my food was quick and easy. When I got handed the bag I was surprised at how heavy it was! One plate alone is more than enough for you to eat off of multiple times or share with a couple people. Inside I had shrimp, curry chicken, jerk chicken, what seemed like stew beef (due to the potatoes & carrots that was with it), rice, mac & cheese and a little rasta pasta. Everything was fall off the bone tender and seasoned to perfection. You know it's good when you have to make a noise or dance after every bite, lol! But seriously, as a 1st time customer this was definitely a great way for me to try different things & I was not disappointed with anything. Thanks to whoever packed my boxes & thanks to the chef! I'll be back for sure.

I’ve been enjoying the good for years. It’s my go to place but the attitude I have to deal with every time I encounter the woman on the counter ,has led me to decide to not spend my money there anymore. She’s very condescending and her negative attitude is a turn off. At 72 years old, I don’t need her to disturb my peace so you just lost me as a customer.

I love this place. The food for the most part is always delicious.. and I like when the guy (maybe the owner not sure) with the locs is there bc he cooks the food to perfection!
Today I placed an online order... It wasn't ready when I arrived and waited over 30 mins. I placed an online order for convenience and fast paced service... Any who.. I ordered the fry chicken and you can select a sauce .. usually I get the sauce on the side (never had to put it in notes) it's just always on the side in a round container. Today the sauce was on the chicken... It was sauce everywhere.. on the chicken... Rice.. cabbage.. plantains... Sometimes when I'm there the cook asks if I want sauce on the side.. but this time it was just dumped on the food. Everything taste like Hennessy gravy lol. And it made the chicken soggy and not fried like I like it!
Also it was two bites of cabbage! I'm not understanding why the cabbage portions are so small???? I seen other comments with the same complaint. Less rice more cabbage!!
The food was just alright today... I would like to know when the guy with the locs works bc the food is always good and portion sizes for cabbage is good too. I asked if I could just order more chicken ... And was told I would have to order a whole plate again... Idk... Should of been able to just order chicken by it's self.. but i didn't finish my plate.. And felt I wasted my money. Unfortunately I will remember to ask for sauce on side for future.
Also the app has not worked for a while so I place the order online.. But doesn't seem like my orders are linking to my account.. Not sure what's going on.

Spent 20+$ didn't even get to sit on the bench outside long enough to let the food cool down to eat it before we were told to move ruined the whole experience if they don't want pp eating out here they should have sign

I was told about this restaurant by a friend so I checked it out. I was disappointed to say the least. Nice display of Jamaica inside tho. Jerk Salmon was not to appealing to me. Wasn’t spicy at not level just real sweat. Salmon wasn’t seasoned. Awesome cabbage and rice and peas!
Food unfortunately had bone pieces and shards EVERYWHERE. I tried to eat it and only got three bites in (every bite had bones). Sad as this was my first experience here.

Honestly can’t wait till they close down and build a different restaurant in its place.
