Came in last night for a wonderful dinner with my boyfriend. Natalie was such a sweet server and gave excellent recommendations for both drinks and food- we discovered we love sake! We will definitely be returning. The food was indescribably delicious and perfectly portioned. We loved the takoyaki the most! Thank you Yume! Was also excited to hear it was woman owned…great staff, even better food, and the interior is gorgeous.

YUME? More like YUMMY! Really great stuff every single time. By every single time, I mean weekly. Staff is on their game. Chicken is fried perfectly. Overhead lighting isn’t great unfortunately and casts a not so flattering shadow over my nose. That said, I love it here.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte. I think if you love places like MENYA and Sun's Kitchen, you'd enjoy the cuisine here as well. I've tried a variety of dishes from their ramen to their katsu to their sushi, and everything is delicious. The food is flavorful and comforting, and the staff is very kind.

We ordered soup and sushi and it was sooo good. The menu has lots of options, the staff was very nice and attentive and the atmosphere was very lively and inviting. Great for family or date night. We will definitely dine in again when visiting Charlotte.

Visited from out of town, shared the chef’s sushi plate with my friends. It was really good, menu says it’s for 4 but it was much more suited for 3 people.

I went with high expectations after reading the Google reviews, but unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. They really need to reconsider the quality of their dishes. The katsu-don, in particular, was the worst.

Takoyaki and Umeshu are tasty! The staff are friendly and polite! I enjoyed my meal a lot!
