I used to really love this place. My mother is from Liberia and I would come here with her and my half sister. It used to be run by an older man when I was there in the past. Haven’t been in years and came with my Canadian girlfriend so she could try authentic Liberian cuisine. There was a young woman working there who was beyond rude. She just looked at us and impatiently asked, “Whatchu want??” and had the most disgusting attitude the entire time we were there. I hate to accuse someone of being racist without proof but she only acted this way to my white girlfriend and I. The rest of the customers were dark skinned Africans and she was not this way with them. I will never come back again. Whoever owns this restaurant should fire that girl. She is bad for business.

Not the best looking restaurant. The hospitality here is dead but that might be their culture idk. Besides that their peanut butter soup is pretty tasty but spicy as hell. Make sure you have some milk on the side and no ulcers.

You would think I got egusi soup by the picture but I can assure it is NOT it taste just like okra stew and to my surprise when I dug in it was okra stew this isn’t what I asked for this isn’t what I paid for make sure if you do not have the food you be honest with your customers instead of lying because I’ve had egusi soup
Plenty of times living in Charlotte and can definitely assure you that this OKRA stew with
Palm oil and on top of that I barley got any meat one small piece of chicken

This place cannot keep up with the demands of the food because every time I call they are out or making more and the time frame is insane I was told twenty to thirty minutes (no biggie) when I arrive on time all the times that I have called and ordered ahead but when I get there no one knows my order or name and then I’m waiting for over an hour for the food. I do keep coming back though 😏 with the hope that one day I will get the food that I ordered

The price started at $11 but now it’s $17 and the portions are much smaller. And wayyyyyyy too much oil. I should not have more oil than collard greens. I was highly disappointed today and actually had to drain the oil out of my bowl. I’m not paying for oil, I’m paying for greens

Prices have gone up (understandable). The portions have gotten smaller. There used to be a decent portion when the jollof was around $13. Just a few years ago; now it's $17.

Disappointed to the say the least. I really enjoyed this establishment food. I would drive 40 minutes away just for a plate. I ordered Jolloff rice and it was not only dry, lacked the flavor it usually has and I was given 2 small pieces of chicken. Like where is the meat. The last time I had this I had plenty of meat and more than just chicken was in the rice. Truly disappointed, please do better.

I want to like the food but the customer service is poor. I don’t know if it’s because the cashier is having a bad day but why every time I walk through the door the people are so rude! Called in my order to minimize standing around and I waited 15 minutes before pulling up. Still had to wait 15+ minutes for the food once i Got there. It’s like you have to come and prove your african for the best quality of service.

I'm really confused at the concept of Indians owning and running a West African restaurant. The food was MEH! The caveat is that they don't have, use, or serve PORK😒

THE SERVICE WAS NOT THE BEST. The dining area will NEVER RE-OPEN. MY VERY FIRST EXPERIENCE WAS AN UNPLEASANT & EXPENSIVE ONE( Out sheer curiosity) NEVER AGAIN☹️
