Great service but the food sucks!!!!Chicken was so dry I had to wash it down with a roll and the green beans had a raunchy funk to them. They have a sign saying they charge for wasted food so I'm guessing a lot probably gets wasted trying to find something edible.

It's a buffet, the roast was perfect ! sliced in front of you. Sides just like granny's.found the fried chicken a tad dry but great taste but my favorite is their sign on the buffet. Wasted food will be extra charge? I must say I didn't see any wasted food..

This past weekend, my boyfriend and I stayed in Cherokee because of the truck show they were having in Maggie Valley. On the way to the truck show, we passed Granny's Kitchen and it was packed, so we knew it was going to be good. I looked it up online and seen it had great reviews and the food looked great - southern country cooking.Later that evening, we decided to stop by there and get something to eat. The "buffet" was literally just one line...that's it. The food was bland and the collards tasted like they were cut, put in a pot of just water with an onion and that's it. The cornbread, I could lay foundation with how hard it was. The green beans, potatoes and the salad were decent, but it wasn't anything to brag about. The chicken was dry and the fish and shrimp tasted the exact same and were rubbery. For 2 people with one drink (Sprite), our bill was $40 and it wasn't worth half of that. Maybe it was just a bad day and things weren't what people were making it out to be, but there wasn't a lot to choose from to be called a buffet and to have the prices they had.

The best food on a buffet that I have had since covid very tasty and very hot and our server was super friendly
This was a religious experience. I wanted to keep eating til they had to call an ambulance to roll me outta there from a self induced food coma, for breakfast AND dinner. Prices are also very reasonable. There are no words to describe how good the food was. Normally for buffets, the quality isn’t quite as good as a normal sit down restaurant. This place tasted like Granny cooked this for her favorite grandson on his birthday. The waitress was amazing both times, incredible hospitality. We can’t wait to come back.Vegetarian options: They have great vegetarian optionsParking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Staff and establishment is very kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible although it can be tricky to navigate inside if it’s busy

Ate here the last time in area and it was wonderful. This time will be the last. The hostess sat us at a table middle of a nook with three tables, but there is only room for two if people want to actually sit in a chair and NOT STAND at the end of the table. She then , with empty tables throughout the restaurant, continued to try and sit people at all three of the tables. THREE groups of people told her there wasn't enough room to sit there, and she kept trying to seat people there anyway. Made us very uncomfortable and embarrassed as well as the other people who were sitting at one of the other tables!! Go there if you are two inches wide only!!!
