Very good food. Friendly folks. Buffet-only at this time (10-12-20).
Buffet was open!! Cherokee is still mostly closed. Fast food only is open on mondays, and this little gem. Food was good, chicken great. Big salad bar and strawberry cake to die for. Servers were busy, but to us, they were prompt...
I am certainly not a big buffet fan, but I was hungry. Plus, the better restaurant down the road had a long wait. The food was okay. I enjoyed the gravy. Service was sufficient. Not overly excited with my visit, hence the average rating....
DONT BOTHER. The place is a joke. Worst dining experience EVER. Small buffet with many empty tins. Cold rolls, cold potatoes, cold peas, even the soda was flat. Ive had better chow lines in the Army and middle school. The old lady at the register was rude, obnoxious and clearly didn't want to be there. Do your self a favor, KEEP ON DRIVING!! Anywhere is better than this dump. Complete waste of time and money.
This was the absolute WORST place to eat!!! Everything was bland, tasteless and limited. We wanted to walk out. The buffet was very small and limited on what was out. It took about 3 minutes to even find the plates. We were never asked if refills were needed or brought our bill. A waitress sat a couple at a table near us that had to be cleaned. The waitress was asked to please bring a towel to dry the table and rudely told the lady they were too short staffed to that. Another man asked for the table he was sat at to be wiped dry, he also was rudely spoke too. $11.95 a person for the buffet is HUGE rip off. We honestly could've walked out without paying like other patrons we watched dine and dash. We waited more than 10 minutes to just pay for the bland slop. While waiting to pay they told incoming patrons that they are closing to catch up on filling the buffet. We were literally locked inside to only be let out when it was convenient for a waitress to come let us out. A cold McDonald's burger would have been the better choice. DONT WASTE OR TIME OR MONEY, GO TO THE FAST FOOD PLACE THATS LESS THAN A BLOCK AWAY!!
All that was here at the time of our visit was the buffet. The bread was cold, potatoes cold, black eyed peas cold, friend chicken bland. Ive seen better food lines in middle schools. Half the pots were empty. The old lady at the register was rude and barking at customers. Hands down the most horrendous dining experience I have EVER experienced. Save yourself the aggravation, find somewhere else. I would give zero stars if I could.
We stopped on a Sunday afternoon and all that was available was the buffet. My fried chicken and peach cobbler were good. Everything else I ate had no seasoning and was bland and tasteless. I do not recommend the buffet at all. We were seated quickly and our server was friendly and attentive. For this reason I’m giving 2 stars.
Service was slow, food was below average at best. Chicken was dried out. As we were there they brought out a complete new tray of fried chicken, and then only put like 4 pieces in with the 1/2 tray of dried out chicken... After eating a few pieces of the dried out chicken I went back and they had place a FEW more pieces of fresh chicken on the tray, and they were OKAY... The mashed potatoes, veggies, etc.... were completely tasteless with NO Seasoning AT ALL!!! If it weren't for the Salt and Pepper on the table there would have been NO spices on the food! This is a VERY Poor excuse for a 'Family Style' restaurant...
Absolutely the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Although they were short-handed, we patiently waited to be seated while waitresses passed us by several times. We all ordered the buffet which turned out to be a regret as there was hardly any food on it. The rolls were dried to a crunch and only about 5 pieces of chicken wings remained. They never restocks the buffet the entire time. We maybe ate $5 worth of the $11.95 charge. When I mentioned this to the cashier upon check out, Jacob, who claimed to be the owner, flipped out and used the F-bomb. He was so very rude and disrespectful. His sister actually apologized for his language and actions. We absolutely will not return nor recommend this place!
The service was poor. The young, male server told us that he wasn't making any tip money. After he took our order we knew why. We saw him again to bring drinks and food, which was about a 30 minutes for a burger, salad, and club sandwich. Two in our party got the salad bar which was bland. I had to ask the server to take the dirty salad bar plates as he was trying to walk away after placing the food on the table, and we asked for a coffee refill at that time. He came back with the coffee and we asked for ketchup. The ketchup never arrived, but after about 10 minutes my husband found another server to get it for him.Poor experience all around. I wouldn't give it two stars but at least he was friendly when we did see him and the food was hot, even if it was bland. They were busy, probably from tourists, because I can't imagine locals wanting that kind of treatment over again.

My family and I went for Breakfast bar on Labor Day. We went on a recommendation of a family member because they had great country ham on the bar. I was a little skeptical due to the low rating on TA. But gave it a try. We was seated promptly by a waitress without a mask to a un cleaned table. They did clean it when they brought silverware and waters. They said there was no menu service only the buffet so my senior mom decided not to eat. When my Father, wife and I got to the bar all the trade were empty. The only thing on the bar was a few pieces of fried baloney, fried potatoes and gravy. That is all. My wife informed the lady manager to a loud yell to the kitchen "the bar is completely empty". After 15 minutes we did get some half cooked eggs and Biscuits and a little more baloney. We Never got any country ham, pancakes, bacon or even ketup for the potatoes. I ask if we could get something off the lunch bar since they were putting it out since we had not gotten country ham or much anything else from breakfast bar. I was told no and that if I did I would have to pay for lunch as well as breakfast. I was then caused and said I was looking for something free. I told them that was not the case. I just felt like I should be able to get what was promised by the advertising on the wall behind them. I ask for my ticket to pay so I could leave. I was then told by the owner that I should try running a restaurant before complaining about one. I then was told to leave again he did not need my @#$% money. So I did, I will Never go back and i will tell everyone on TA to not go as well. So to make it short the food was not good and the manager and owner were terrible. The other workers were kind and worked very hard to do the best job they could. No issues with them at all. Do the right thing and go to Peter's pancakes
Short story: DO. NOT. go to this place. It isn't worth the chance that your experience is horrible. Literally go to the gas station Hardees. Long story: We came in with a party of 13 - understandably a "big party." However, there were not a ton of people there, so they sat us relatively quickly. First quick note: the food was WAY overpriced. Like $7 for a kids meal made of frozen chicken nuggets... Then proceeded the worst hour of wait that I have ever had at a restaurant. We never had a server for our table. Someone different took our drink orders, took our food orders, brought the food, etc... No one came back to check on us. No one refilled drinks. We then waited for an hour from placing the order to receiving it. Once we DID get the food, nearly half of the orders were wrong. Missing aspects of the orders. Just generally terrible. Food taste was mainly good. The kids chicken nuggets for the kids meals were essentially frozen nuggets - and not a single one was eaten. So, the meals... unbelievably underwhelming. But we aren't done yet... so, after an hour of waiting for food - then getting mostly wrong orders. We had to go find refills, find sauces, and try to get things fixed (which never got done). So we ate quickly and then went to head out. Now that we are done, and checking out we ask to talk to the manager. I don't think there WAS a manager there... and the one that came out to "take care of us" did nothing of the sort. They all but said they didn't care that we had a terrible experience. The answer was they "were busy." No discounts. No apologies. No empathy at all. AT. ALL... Thats the thing, we were a party full of previous customer service/waiters/waitresses... we get it when things get busy. But what happened was unacceptable. Truly unacceptable. The person who rang us up didn't give two craps if we were upset. They just wanted us out of the building. Do not go here. Do not get it a shot. Walk right on past and do not give it a second thought. If I could actively take away other reviewers stars, I would.
Went here for a quick lunch. The owner was the rudest person I have ever had in a costumer service job. She needs to learn how to talk to people. The food was horrible and the buffet was not woth the price. The only enjoyable thing was the waitress we had was very good. Do not come here it is not worth your time or money.
Do not expose your family to this restaurant. Staff is so rude and the manage allows this behavior. I would advise you to check the local Mexican restaurant. The food is excellect.
This was an okay buffet. Nothing over the top. Typical buffet country style lunch. Not sure if I would visit again. Not because it was bad, it just didn't wow me. The staff was amazingly nice. That was the best part.
