Pop's Smokehouse is a restaurant with terrific and fantastic food. The food is really good, tasty, flavorful, rich, seasoned to perfection, and absolutely delicious. Specific meals like the burger with the slice of brisket and Mac and cheese are heavenly. The barbecue wings are the best ever, and the burnt ends, ribs, pork, catfish, hush puppies, and fries are all great. Sides are also outstanding: the baked beans are to die for, the greens are spicy, the fried okra and Mac and cheese are stupid good, and the Auntie’s Mac is killer. Service is great and very attentive, though sometimes slow due to a remodeling project. Currently, food is cooked on a food truck while remodeling is ongoing, but this has no negative effect on the quality or quantity. The place also offers good entertainment like axe throwing. It is a place with the owner's passion behind making quality food and is becoming something great. It comes with a high recommendation.
