Shake Shop has the best burgers around time. CASH ONLY business that operates limited hours during the week. The Latta burger is hand patted burger with slaw and tomato. The burger was seasoned to perfection and staff were friendly during the visit. The onions rings and fries were fresh and made to order. Try the Cherry Sun Drop drink it’s one of their specialty.
For years this tiny little burger joint has been awarded the Best Burger in the state of North Carolina by Our State Magazine, the Charlotte Observer and many other magazines and newspapers. Get the original Lotta Burger that comes with local hamburger, cheese, Cole slaw, tomato, pickle and fries on the side. If I'm within 30 miles of the Shake Shop in Cherryville NC I must detour to get a Lotta Burger. Worth the trip.
