I'm going to put aside the rude service we got from the snarky hostess because I've been here before and had good experiences. I can ignore that. What I can't ignore... See this fence there in the back left of this patio, setup? This public patio with tables and chairs where it's logical kids will run around and play? The type of fence that kids will immediately go run up to and grab to look in? It's an electric fence. An electric fence with no warning sign and totally exposed to the public. My 3 year old ran up to this fence and was electrocuted this past weekend. This is absolutely outrageous and unacceptable

I've dined here twice in the last 6 months. Both times I had a dog, so I sat outside on the patio- and it is so nice. Beautiful views while you eat and enjoy your wine! Twice I've had the smash burger, and it is SO GOOD. Ordered the brussel sprouts on both visits as well, they are perfection. A lot of places toss them in a sweet and spicy Thai sauce- but not here- they use a different dressing and it's delicious! Today I did a wine flight, and that includes four 2 oz pours. I tried the Gruner Veltliner , The reserve Chardonnay the white blend with the GV/Chard/Riesling, and the Rose. They were all nice and refreshing. On my first visit I ordered a burger patty for my best girl, (It was her birthday, and we'd hiked 9+ miles!) and today the pups split a grilled chicken breast. They are super dog friendly, and bring out water for the dogs. We had the beignets for dessert today, they were delicious. If you are hiking around Chimney Rock, Bat Cave, Lake Lure, then I highly recommend planning your lunch or dinner here!

Great spot with a big deck overlooking Chimney Rock and the main street. I got the meatball sub while the wife got the rueben and crab bisque. The food was good and pPrices were reasonable

Good food and service. They had a small plate menu but they gave you large portions. Everything was great. Fried green tomatoes, Brussel sprout small plate, spinach salad. All was very good.

Every chance I get I love to go wine tasting. We did a day trip up to the mountains and thought why not. We found Burntshirt Vineyards. They have indoor and outdoor dining. We had a great time. Some of the wines weren't my cup of tea, but we were able to taste 6-7 different wines and we bought a bottle. Just a heads up you must pay for parking. We decided not to eat here but they do serve food.

Great view. Great wine slushie. Nice stop after hiking at Chimney Rock. Service was friendly and attentive.
Go just to see ANNIE. I would go back over and over just to have her. So adorable and sassy but sweet. She melted our hearts. We laughed and almost cried with her. The wine was a plus

We did a day trip to Chimney Rick and came across Burntshirt Vineyards. Great place!! Leslie made out visit. She was so informative and just fun to visit with. My husband and I both did a tasting of wines and loved all of them. Order the cheese plate to go with the wine. Thank you Leslie for a great visit!

We only had the fried green tomato app and a flight of wine, but both were delicious. I will definitely be back this week ti try more and buy some bottles to take home.
