“We were pleasantly surprised that this place was so delicious!!! The sweet potato fries are honestly the best I have ever had (and I get them almost every time they are on a menu). The kids chicken tenders were perfectly cooked. My turkey rueben was delicious. The regular fries were also really well-seasoned. The staff was all very friendly. Really impressed with this place and will be back next time we are in town.”

“Very good food! We had lunch inside the restaurant. The back has a patio overlooking the river but there were many “carpenter bees” that are very intimidating due to their size and well, if you don't like insects, I recommend eating inside the restaurant. Good and fast attention.”

“Fun little stationary food truck which only sells tacos and pupusas. We only got pupusas and loved the value. The cheese was nice and soft, the other fillings were tasty and everything felt fresh.It's a bit under seasoned for my taste, but the three different salsas remedied that. We also really liked the slaw which provides the acidity to cut the fat of the cheeses.Cash or Zelle only, and only outdoor seating.”

“Probably the best kept secret in Lake Lure. No idea why I had never heard of this place before. The best trout I’ve ever had. And people aren’t joking about the wedge salad. Just get it. Cocktails were mixed to perfection and desert wasn’t over the top…the perfect topper to a well balanced meal. Service was great too with Sydney (sp?).I would suggest more sweet to balance the savory of the charcuterie board. But otherwise the experience was perfection. Definitely making this a regular stop from now on.”

“Brown butter bourbon truffle ice cream and coffee for my girlfriend and a banana split for me. The ice cream was smooth and the tasty, n ano will perfectly ripe but not overripe and they were plenty of goodies, nuts, pineapple and strawberries and top with the whipped cream and a cherry. All on the list of the things that we're not supposed to eat and it was most excellent.”

We chatted with him and the other bartender about bourbon and moonshine and weddings and the shark sightin at Lake Lure earlier that must have occurred why else would they shut the beach at 6???
