Stopped in for lunch today in between jobs. Great Food at good prices. Fast service. Will be stopping back to try more of their menu.

It’s a nice food truck with reasonably priced food. The cheese steak had a bit too much garlic on it. It does have a few tables to sit at and its next to Lake Lure pottery. We would stop by again.

Den & Kristi's Carolina Comforts is a nice food truck in Lake Lure serving delicious food at very reasonable prices with a smile. The super nice people behind it have cracked the code on good eats. The menu includes a delicious cheesesteak, fries, lemonade, soup, sandwiches, mac and cheese, a southern hotdog, a southern burger, a pulled pork special with slaw, a pulled pork sandwich and a cheese burger. The southern hotdog and southern burger were both outstanding — full of flavor, clearly homemade with care, and exactly the kind of Southern comfort food you hope to find on a road trip. The pulled pork special with slaw was amazing, with large portions for the price. The fresh squeezed lemonade is the real thing and perfect on a hot sunny day. The cheese steak had a bit too much garlic on it, but the Philly cheese steak was fantastic. There are a few tables to sit at and it is next to Lake Lure pottery. This one goes straight on your must-try list — great food, great hospitality, and the kind of place that makes you glad you stopped. Highly recommend if you're ever in the area.
