La Montaña Mexican Restaurant

The lady who sat us and was our server never came out to us to take our orders, to check on us, anything. after waiting a while, we went into to order. We had to go inside multiple times to ask for more salsa, put another order, etc. She knew her service was bad so I think she tried to give herself a tip by telling us our total is higher and not showing us an itemized receipt before paying. When I insisted and asked for items it seems the price of our meal went down 2$. Of course I still tipped decently so she didn’t need to try to lie. Otherwise decent price for fajitas. Quite Small amount of rice and beans (no guac lettuce etc) so we ordered another and it’s 6$ for a side. The place was empty other than us. It was nice to be by the water and eat food that is vegan that is not so over processed fake meat so we are glad to have had a meal outdoors after our hike.

Went to this place on a Sunday and purchased two margaritas to start. First of all margaritas were 95% mix that you could buy the grocery store could not even taste. The tequila did not feel the tequila. So I decided to give them another chance and bought a third margarita at $13 per And it was worse than the first two. These people are ripping people off and it’s a shame would never go back and will never recommend shame on them.

It was okay, nothing special. We walked in on a random weekday evening and it was practically empty. We sat outside and the river view was nice but the outdoor area was dirty and not well arranged. The fan wasn't really working even though it was warm. The food was rather bland and the wait staff seemed annoyed that we walked in (even though it was not busy at all). Honestly, unless you're really desperate for mexican food would skip this one.

Food was unsatisfying had a shrimp cocktail worst I had ever eaten cups used looked dirty. The funny thing is that all the staff were just sitting around on there phones watching tiktok you could literally hear it while we were eating very unprofessional.

The food was acceptable, we ate outside, looking at the river, beautiful view. They could get better use out of this restaurant with better qualified staff and good cleanliness.

Decent food. Terrible service and. It clean. It’s like you are a nuisance, went twice giving it benefit of doubt. Will not return to this establishment. Go to El Lago: much better Mexican experience, food and service.

Good service from the waiter but bad food
The hibiscus water faded and tasteless the "guacamole" which is more like zucchini with mayonnaise and maybe a pint of avocado but I doubt it ? we ate 4 and paid 80 something!$ ..not to return.
