I didn't like it, because I didn't like eating across from a table that had a dog at it, and it wasn't a service dog. A service dog is supposed to be under the table, not at the table. So I want be eating there any more.

Customer service was poor. Staff were rude to me and my guest. Waitress took forever to serve us and she was slow to bring 2 teas and 2 plates for the salad bar and then they ran out of Strawberries and would not refresh the fruit. I can definitely say that after this sorry experience I will not Ever Return to the Box Car Claremont to eat again.

We have tried the chicken truck several times. The chicken is pretty good, I would say comparable to chicfilet, unfortunately its way too salty. It needs about half the salt in it that it has, you can add it, but you can't take it out. The grilled is not salty, but I'd rather have the fried. Ill go back because its close to home, and it descent food. Waffle fries are as good as chicfilet. The main restaurant has the best salad bar in Catawba County, steaks are pretty good too.
Ordered tips onions and peppers my husband ordered samehis was supposed to be rare mine well done they were both burnt on one side and tuff and very small and very few for your money also the rolls are different not as near as good as use to be every thing else was ok
