Great food, great service, and great people. 100% would recommend going here.
Gail was wonderful. She was friendly and always made sure we had what we needed. There's three pool tables. Even though I didn't order any food, the price is reasonable. Three dollars a bottle of beer is pretty cheap. Also, have tap beer where they rotate out to different brand depending on the days. Overall, we had a great time.

It's been a while since we've been down to P and B. I was surprised and delighted and enjoyed greatly the new, very-tasty pulled pork sandwich a lot. I even had 2 and fries to boot... Gail and Tommy Hoke throw themselves into their cooking efforts like true connoisseurs. No wonder there, since their family has been working beside Pockets and Brews from 1950 on in the Claremont Cafe. Tommy hand mixes his pizza dough with imported Italian flour, and throws the crust onsite. Gail knows I like my food spicy and she painted me up a masterpiece flavored not only by the slow cooked savory pork with homemade slaw but also with a hand painted slosh of ghost pepper sauce. Heat Warning. Don't experiment if you are a hot teetotaler. The Ghost will get you! Black Pepper is a 3, Texas Pete, a 5, and the ghost sauce is a 12... The Reaper Pepper which as far as I know has not yet made an appearance is a full 20.The service is good, but don't get in a hurry...with as many as 15 or 20 people. It looks like more in this cozy Hometown delight. People need not stress as there are 3 pool tables, and many TVs for watching sports, and a Rockola jukebox with your favored musical cuts. There is one new addition that first caused me to scoff but soon won me over as my Granddaughter thought she could beat the old Man on the Automatic scoring dart machine.Nobody beats me at darts. Nobody. Even though they are safety tips and not thistle board missiles. Just allow a few minutes, well...20 or 30 mins. to get my muscle memory on...

Good service friendly people
My family and I stopped in town to grab a bite to eat and this place was AMAZING. Great food and everyone was SO friendly. The wings with molasses dry rub were superb. I don't have a bad thing to say about any of the food! Definitely stop here and grab a bite to eat and a beer if you're in town.
