Gail was wonderful. She was friendly and always made sure we had what we needed. There's three pool tables. Even though I didn't order any food, the price is reasonable. Three dollars a bottle of beer is pretty cheap. Also, have tap beer where they rotate out to different brand depending on the days. Overall, we had a great time.
It's been a while since we've been down to P and B. I was surprised and delighted and enjoyed greatly the new, very-tasty pulled pork sandwich a lot. I even had 2 and fries to boot... Gail and Tommy Hoke throw themselves into their cooking efforts like true connoisseurs. No wonder there, since their family has been working beside Pockets and Brews from 1950 on in the Claremont Cafe. Tommy hand mixes his pizza dough with imported Italian flour, and throws the crust onsite....
My family and I stopped in town to grab a bite to eat and this place was AMAZING. Great food and everyone was SO friendly. The wings with molasses dry rub were superb. I don't have a bad thing to say about any of the food! Definitely stop here and grab a bite to eat and a beer if you're in town.
