Just moved to Clayton and stumbled across this hidden gem. I am beyond impressed the service and how they go above and beyond to ensure the place is clean. I've purposely looked around for dirt and found none (HAHA). Aside from that, the drinks are good as is the food. I just cant get over how clean the place is :D

Great little coffee shop with great food options. Got a bacon egg and cheese bagel and it was phenomenal. My sister got a croissant off of the lunch menu and she also really enjoyed it. Definitely would recommend and will be back!!

Cozy local café in the middle of a local community. Lots of walkable space nearby. Food, service, furnishings, and ambiance were modern and had great quality. Regularly cleaned and attentively cared for space. Plenty of seating. Great place to burn a few hours.

I absolutely love 9Bar. It is my favorite independent coffee shop in Clayton. I go through spells during the school year of going on a very regular basis before work and one of the people working began to greet me by name when I came in and I cannot tell you how much that really meant to me- that level of personability is not so common anymore. Their lattes are so good, too. I believe they use locally sourced espresso and do not use cold foam from a carton like other places, which is a big plus. I also love their dirty chai, jalapeño cheddar bagel, and the chicken salad croissant. I often use their order ahead program, which is very efficient and convenient, but the times I’ve been able to sit down and work in the shop have been lovely. Given that Riverwood is a residential+retail neighborhood, it’s really nice to people-watch in there and see all sorts of people and families who value this as a community Third Place.

This little place is tucked away in the middle of a neighborhood. Worth the stop. Friendly people, great decor and the food and coffee were on point. If you want a place to stop and visit with a friend, I suggest coming on over. There is also a great place to walk or let the kiddos run around in the grass. Also excited that they had gluten free bread so I got myself a gluten-free blt.
