I lived in Clayton for over 15 years and this has been the best Chinese food I have had in the area. The food was always prepared fresh and I generally had no issues. However as with any Chinese carry-out NEVER order food when the restaurant is closing soon because I can almost guarantee you will not get freshness. These places tend to shut down prior to closing and after closing the lights go out quick. So do yourself a favor and keep 'time' in mind and enjoy!

Be very careful ordering from this place and paying with your debit card. I paid cash and card for my food, they tried to overcharge my card more than what my remaining balance was. One piece of advice, don't get delivery. Pick up only and show up 5 minutes before your projected "order ready" time. There are dishes that they do up right and then some that could use some R&D. 1. Sesame Chicken = great! 2. Egg Foo Yung = great! 3. Sweet & Sour chicken = as expected 4. Moo shu pork or chicken = the moo shu is good, but the pancakes are shit! I use tortillas from LA Bonita 5. Beef with garlic sauce = awesome! 6. Fried rice = don't waste your money 7. Dragon & Phoenix = good 8. Shrimp with cashew = great! 9. Wonton soup = don't even 10. Hot & sour soup = good 11. Shrimp & scallop in pepper sauce = very few scallops, and it would be sooooooo much better with sautéed shrimp. The breaded and fried shrimp in the dish are just mushy and gross.
Lastly...could we get an option to NOT put a bazillion packets of sauce in the bag?!?!

This is our go to Chinese place but they've gone down hill over the years. I ordered 2 large sesame chickens (specifically said not the combo)and an order of crab Rangoon. They gave us 2 dinner combos that were luke warm and the crab Rangoon had a super onion taste.
Food was just OK They forgot my red sauce for the crab Rangoons though.

I ordered from Uber eats delivery, egg roll, shrimp toast, and shrimp lobster sauce .
FIRST. I don’t know why restaurants do this for shrimp with lobster sauce, but they lay the whole top portion of the tub with imitation cramp yuck. The shrimp toast was absolutely horrible, oil, soaked, and the inside was all raw, but worst of all I became sick to my stomach, an hour of eating this food. Will never order again
