Fiesta Mexicana Clayton

Came here to eat, first thing the queso was just awful, no flavor, gritty, watery. We tried to speak to our waiter about it and he just said it's a new cheese. Even store bought queso is better than what was served. We then got our meals and the steak quesodilla was alright, the steak was seasoned but besides that not much flavor. The dish my partner got was so bad to the point he would not eat it, which is something he's had at this restaurant and other Mexican restaurants before and loves. Our waiter wasn't understanding so we asked to speak to a manager and the manager said to us well no other customer has complained about this food, but if you dont like it ok. Took the dish away and then we sat for a good 20 minutes and tried to ask the waiter for our check to which he shrugged and didn't know and walked away from us. Proceeded to walk right by us for 10 minutes til we finally got up to ask the hostess what we should do and she went to find a manager and said we could just go? We left very disappointed in the service we got tonight and the quality of the food. And this is a restaurant my partner has been going to for years.

My husband loves chips and salsa. Their atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. The service is incredibly fast and the staff is attentive and friendly. They recently renovated and everything is refreshed. The service is still great and the food is still absolutely delicious. My preschooler loves their cheese dip. Ask for a table where Vanessa is serving. She is attentive without being intrusive. Refilled our chips, dip, and drinks before we even got our food. Will definitely be returning.

I recently visited Fiesta Mexicana in Clayton, and overall, we had a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with a lively, colorful decor that definitely adds to the authenticity of the place. It was a nice setting for a casual dinner out.

We started with the street corn as an appetizer, which was really tasty. The corn was grilled to perfection, with a nice balance of seasoning and toppings that gave it a great flavor. It wasn’t too heavy, making it a perfect start to the meal.

For my main course, I went with the ACP Chicken, and I have to say, it was quite good. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and the portion was generous. The cheese sauce over the rice and chicken was creamy and delicious, making it a comforting and satisfying dish. The flavors came together well without being overly spicy, which I personally appreciated.

Service was prompt and friendly, and our server checked in on us several times throughout the meal. If I had any critique, it would be that while everything was enjoyable, the food didn’t stand out as particularly exceptional. That being said, it was a solid meal, and I would definitely come back to try some of their other menu items.

If you’re in the mood for some good, reliable Mexican food in Clayton, Fiesta Mexicana is worth a visit!

Love the food here. Nothing we have gotten was bad. Service is amazing. Texas Margaritas are yummy and strong BTW. Street corn tasty and Chimichangas great fried! Thank you for the great service.
