--- I regret to share my recent disappointments with Jamaican Bites in Clayton. Over the past few visits, I've noticed a significant decline in both service and availability of menu items. On my latest visit, once again, there were no oxtails available, and I was advised to come earlier, which I find unprofessional and inconvenient. Since the ownership transitioned to another family member not sure who this guy is but he’s always there when I go && the quality and reliability of the restaurant have noticeably declined. This has forced me to travel over 30 minutes away to find authentic Jamaican cuisine, which is quite frustrating. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works towards restoring the restaurant's former standards.
Delicious Caribbean food nearby, very happy about that!!! 😊 Great service!!
Vegetarian options: The veggie roti was everything!

I loved everything. By far the best food I've had. It was like being back home. I had the ox tails rice and peas.

This place was bomb when they first came to Clayton. But, for a few years now the food has not been good. The Jerk chicken taste like it was seasoned by lighter fluid. I don’t know if you guys changed cooks or what but I’m surprised the workers don’t notice the smell. Also, the spicy jerk sauce is no longer spicy and has no flavor. I remember when they had habanero peppers floating in the sauce, it was so good.
I get my haircut right next door and even the barbers won’t eat their anymore because of the taste
I hope you guys get it situated, it’s such a shame that such a good place is going downhill fast. Such a disappointment because even though I know the food taste like lighter fluid, in the particular the jerk chicken I keep going back hoping they change

Food lacks flavor. The first time I came I wasted $70 for dry rice. They season everything with the same season. The fudge rum cake was okay. The Mac and cheese is not good. Their plantains are dry and old. They don’t taste sweet. I tried them for another time and was highly disappointed. I wouldn’t eat there ever again. I’m surprised they are still in business. I would give 1 star but I put 3 so you all can see the truth and they won’t delete my review. If you’re from the West Indies you would be disappointed in the quality and taste of the food. This is by far the worst Caribbean restaurant I ever experienced.

The rice was dry, the cabbage had a taste of pickle juice, the collard greens were really bad with a taste of strong vinegar. My Jerked chicken was burnt and had very little meat on the bone. The drinks to choose from were in a cooler, however they were drinks you could by at any store, just price gouged.
Way over priced for what my family got in return. For my wife and I our bill was over $60.00.

Authentic Jamaican food. The service is top tier. I'm just disappointed that I had to travel all the way to Jamaica to hear about this place. I gotta try everything on the menu so I'll be coming back frequently.
