I decided to venture out for dinner. The restaurant was clean and decently lit. I ordered the fresh catch of the day. The entree was Cajun filet Red Snapper, shrimp, mash potatoes and zucchini and spinach. This entree was everything and all things deliciousness in every bite. I wanted to savor this taste, so I took my leftovers home. The service was great. I look forward to coming back again.

My husband and I stopped by for the first time on a Friday night after moving to Garner a couple months ago. From the first step into the restaurant we had GREAT service. our wait time on a busy night was only 10 minutes. We were greeted by the owner (had no clue at the time who he was) and were immediately impressed with his hospitality and urgency to get us seated. We greatly appreciated this. Angela was our waiter and was great the entire night. Good attitude, helpful and had great conversation. The restaurant runs like a well oiled machine. Everyone appears to be helping each other and eager to help and accommodate the guests. I got the half rack ribs, fries and coleslaw. I would order this again. Ribs had a great taste. My husband got the Henry's hand cut ribeye. Good quality steak he stated with good flavor. We will recommend this restruant to others. Thank you Manning's!

After a doctor's appointment, my mother and I visited this restaurant for lunch from Wilmington, and we were very disappointed. When arriving to be seated with the hostess, we were not adequately greeted; instead, we were asked, “How many?”. We followed the hostess to our seat in the very back of the restaurant. While walking to our table, we passed many empty tables that were not in the back. The hostess did not ask if the table she sat us at was okay but proceeded to walk away. We felt that we were racially profiled and discriminated against. I asked to speak with a manager, and the gentleman from the bar was appointed to assist me and my concern. Many young ladies who are college students or in high school are working the front and do not know how to host correctly. I highly do not recommend this place for those who are of color based on our experience.Thank You

I went to this Restaurant for the first time for my friend's birthday lunch. The food was delicious and our waitress was Friendly. Kind and Professional. Our food came out in a timely manner. I recommend this Restaurant if you ever travel through Clayton NC. I give the food an A+.

This is a classic spot to eat in Clayton. There is bar seating, spaces in the restaurant, a more private dining room on the second floor, and rooftop dining. I’ve never had a bad meal. Local fare includes: shrimp and grits, chicken livers, shrimp gumbo, and crab cakes. The Daily Specials usually catch our eye more often that the local fare. The menu has something for most as they do not have many gluten free options.Service has varied every time I go. Sometimes you’re able to get your meal right away and other times (my most recent visit in March 2024) I’ve waited and searched for waitresses just to put our order in.The cocktail menu has lots of fun drinks, with beer and wine options too! Great spot to dine.
