Unfortunately, I have been forgotten at the “last window” two times in a row at this location, most recently on Wednesday evening, so I called into the window a few times after a long wait (on Wednesday). Nobody came to the window, so I circled back into the drive-thru and gave my app code again. I waited, altogether, about 30 minutes for the $5 McDouble meal and apple pie. So today, they immediately asked us to pull forward to the last window and wait for the egg McMuffin. My spouse said “No, we’ve recently been forgotten twice.” Instead of someone apologizing and saying, “We promise to bring you your food,” or “Someone will definitely be right there; we understand how frustrating that must’ve been,” a manager or team leader (no name tag) was extremely confrontational. This person was super-assertive and, amidst exclaiming that it’s her first day and saying that this is her first interaction with us so she can’t be held responsible for what happened before, was confrontationally and loudly telling us to pull forward. Honestly, despite staying put and saying we’re not pulling forward (to avoid being forgotten again), I truly don’t feel that we were personally offensive whatsoever…we did not raise any voices, certainly did not use profanity, and never got personal in any way…we just did not want to leave the window with no receipt after having paid via app. I have held customer service jobs, and if I would’ve been in the manager’s position, I would’ve apologized and either said, “If you pull up, I promise to bring it to you myself,” or “We’re sorry that’s happened; your sandwich will be right up. Thank you for giving us another chance.” There was no reason for the backlash in response to us not wanting to be forgotten yet again. Not only did they lose out on what could’ve been a positive turnaround with some understanding, but they lost customers for life, especially considering her continuing exclamations about us once a nice gentleman handed us our bag. We will certainly never visit this location again. Sometimes customers really do have valid concerns that should be recognized. Peace out.

I gave up on this location. Staff is unprofessional and I said that’s fine they’re probably short staffed like lots of other places. But why do I never get what I pay for?! Every time either the food is cold, or wrong or both. Not to mention the amount of times y’all over charge me for things I didn’t even ask for. This location is extremely terrible, I highly recommend to do something about this because this is a never ending disappointment. I wasn’t going to leave a review considering this location is right by my house but I am fed up after I just picked up my order and it was wrong again despite the fact that I waited 5 minutes at the second window for my order and it was still wrong. Change the whole management or shut this place down and do us all a favor.
Considering the staffing situation during this stupid pandemic season, the team here was able to get our order quickly and correctly. Just need to give them a little friendly reminder for straws and utensils.

Poorly managed and inefficient. Orders are often incorrect. They take a long time. It’s hard to get the staffs attention at the cashier counter. I could go on.

I'm honestly not sure why this place has such low reviews. I've always gotten exactly what I expected from McDonald's food. There was one time that the drive thru was almost looping around the building but I had ordered via mobile and picked my order up inside.

The staff here is hit or miss, but management is really the problem. I have had numerous issues at this location. A few weeks ago I watched the girl running mobile orders text on her phone the entire time she was walking back and forth delivering orders. Barely looked up to speak to customers, and nearly dropped drink trays because her focus was on her phone. Today, I waited for a mobile order for over 20 minutes. I had to go inside to get it and found it was just sitting on the counter. I asked to speak to the manager and I was told they were waiting for the burger meat to cook (for 20 minutes??) even though I watched a dozen cars go through the drive thru while I sat there, and others with mobile orders came and went while I sat. The manager was rude, barely made eye contact, did not apologize, and just kept saying they only had three people making food, as if that was an excuse for me to sit and wait while others were moving through with barely any wait, and why my food was sitting on the counter when I came in. I know management will do nothing to fix this issue, as is apparent by the constant negative reviews they have on here, but if you are thinking of going here, don’t.

This place needs to close down and they need to put a Chick-fil-A in its place because this place truly is a disgrace to the whole community of Clayton.
I really believe that everyone that works here hates their job. How can your customer service be so bad!! And every single empowerment at that! Every time I come here it’s always an issue from the people taking my order at the speaker being rude to the customer service when you pull up to the window being rude and showing very little effort to do their job. Today I ordered food for me and my child and they did not give me my Oreo McFlurry, and when I asked for it, the girl acted like I asked her something out of this world. She turned around to get the Mc flurry, but did so with an attitude like I was bothering her, also did not give me a spoon so I asked her for a spoon, Instead of giving me a spoon, she gave me a fork, so I asked her for a spoon and again she went to go get it with an attitude rolling her eyes. Also, do you guys ever wipe your hands and mouth after you’re done eating or during while you’re eating, because these people never give you napkins unless you ask for it, so I asked her for napkins and she gave it to me all sloppy with an attitude, They almost fell out of my hand out the window. When we get home, there was no straws in the bag, they forgot my kids juice. And they really need to clean their ice machine because I had to open the lid to drink my sprite and my drink stinks and I do believe that it’s the ice in it.
