My boyfriend and I found this place on TikTok and decided to take the motorcycle out for a ride during false spring. I got the mushroom philly and he got the cordon Bleu. Oh, my, goodness. It was easily the best Philly I've ever had. The meat was so tender and juicy you don't need to add mayo, and the cheese was the perfect amount. They also don't skimp on the mushrooms, which I never think places put enough on, but this place sure does. The service was great, the girls were attentive without overbearing. Cheerful, bubbly, you can tell it's a good work environment, which shows in the food. My boyfriend devoured his sandwich, and we barely finished our fries. The fries were crisp and well-sessoned, and the ranch has a slight tang to it, different but I liked it. Definitely going to be a regular ride destination once it warms up.

We found Sak’s by accident almost two years ago and I am so glad! This place is fantastic. Great food, portions and atmosphere. The staff are professional, friendly and remember our usual orders including beverages! This is the best local place in town! As for my favorite menu item it’s a toss up between the mad mushroom Philly and the pastrami Rueben with thousand island. For dessert it’s a toss up between Matt’s balls and the chocolate cake! For sides, I love them all! Great place, great people!

$19.10 for a whole steak and cheese with a side of fries (they only give you about 10-15 fries, for real). Highway robbery. Wouldn’t you rather have repeat customers every week coming in for a $12 steak and cheese, bring their family and friends. It was good, but not worth $19. Last time they’ll see me.

Matt and his team provided turkey & provolone pinwheels, chocolate-covered strawberries, and cream puffs — everything was delicious and such a hit with our guests! As always, Matt handled the order professionally and on time, making the whole process easy and stress-free. I highly recommend Saks Deli not only for catering special occasions but also anytime you’re looking for a great meal in Clayton off Hwy 70.

Went for Lunch on 8/3/25. Experience was awesome. The young woman who helped us was so kind to all of the guests there. She was super polite and went above and beyond to ensure EVERYONE was happy. The food was incredible. We got Philly cheesesteaks. SO GOOD! The potato salad was also delicious. Believe the hype about this spot. Great food, great service! Keep it up guys!

My husband took me here today, as I've been missing Philly food. It's one of his favorite spots, since he moved here yrs ago, he got to know Matt and as we are both Philly natives, born and raised. We decided to stop by. The food was awesome 👌🏾 👏🏾 and Matt is a super great guy! Service is A-1! If you're looking to try Philly cheesesteaks and hoagies without taking that 7 hour drive to Philly definitely stop in here. Oh and it doesn't hurt if you're an Eagles fan lol. Tell Matt, Mr. & Mrs. Powell sent you.

The kitchen was slow when my Family and I ate here; it was a Friday night about 6pm. There were 5 people at tables when we walked in and ordered. It took close to 30 minutes to get our food. Once the food came we were very happy with it. I found the food to be done very well, the club was well work the price! I went here for the Sak fries, but learned there are no longer on the menu. At the current serving speed, I would recommend Sak's Deli as a nice date lunch spot, more than a family diner spot. I will definitely be back!
