Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q

Nice place, food was great as always at Smithfield's. Fast service too. The person at the counter must have been manager, went out his way hustling for customers.

Wish I could give the service an extra star. Used to go to the one in Fuquay that had great food, but terrible service. The one in Garner has great people, which tons of charm. Even when you wait it’s short and pleasant because the ladies are so friendly and funny. The cook works hard running around keeping it moving.

Tried to put in a order and the girl behind the counter didn't understand what I was saying. Another girl came over to take my order. When we did get our food the sandwiches were cold. For two sandwiches two orders of hush puppies and two iced tea it was 21 dollars and change.

Nice and clean. It was raining that day and I went through the drive-thru. The lady could barely hear me but even when I got to the window she was still respectful and really nice. However, I did get a large tea and their cups. I made a style of foam each time you try to grab it. It's easy to break so I really think they need to change that ASAP. Other than that, no complaints. Prices were fine and the fluid was fine

The chicken is always fresh and the pulled pork sandwich is delicious. Love the thin cut fries and hush puppies too! We always get it when we have family in town. They love it too.

Miller and his co worker (didn’t get his name) was the best! Everyone should have a Miller that is the face of the company. His energy even caught the attention of our 4 year old and the teenager. He said if you need anything just holler Millllerrrr and the baby started giggling. But then the teenager wanted a refill she yelled miller. ( she did get up to meet him) but she thought it was the funniest. Miller needs to be the face of Smithfield Chicken and Bbq

Ordered @ drive through. Speaker and mic was not very good, missed the first item I ordered. Had to add it at the window and wait.

There was a hole in the bottom of the large sweet tea, unnoticed, which filled my center console up before I could get home.

Person at window struggled with English.

And finally, opened the shrimp platter when I got home to find few shrimp and half of the small portion given was breading crumbs. Pretty disappointing. A picture is worth a 1000 words, see attached.

Update:
I received an immediate automated “canned” apology from Smithfield BBQ as soon as this review was posted. It was so quick, it was obviously automated. As they requested in the automated response, I followed up in more details to the email they provided. It has been 10 days now, no response to date. Now I am disappointed twice by lack luster customer service. Just like the lousy plate of food I opened, Smithfield BBQ upper management has proven to be equally lack luster and non responsive. It takes someone just a minute out of their busy work from home job, to read and respond to an email and they can’t even get that done.

Food is always fresh and delicious! The sweet old lady who works the drivethru and lobby is always polite and giving awesome customer service.

Ordered at the drive thru last night and the girl was in such a hurry she interrupted me while I was ordering. Get to the window and she entered my order wrong so I told her again. Get home and my food was good until I found a hair in my sandwich!!! This place is not nearly as good as it use to be!!!

For fast food it’s good bbq. Unique Cole slaw. Fast and friendly service. Clean inside and outside.

Chicken thighs are good. But why do you always have to wait 15 minutes for chicken... from a chicken restaurant.. during dinner rush. Feel like they should plan better.

We went today because my wife wanted a BBQ sandwich. It came out with jis a timy bit of coleslaw on it. She had asked for extra and had to ask for some more. I got the wing snack. Boy the size of the wings have shrunk! They used to be a good size. Not anymore! The fries had so much salt on them it was like eating a salt lick. Very understaffed too.

I'm not from North Carolina originally, and this Smithfields was my first Smithfields experience maybe 2 years ago. Everyone working there has always been kind, the food is good, and it's right next to the supercharger. This is the view from the charger with a little snow. If you bank with BOA it's an extra bonus 😂

BEST Smithfield Chicken $ BBQ I've ever eaten at. And the gentleman they call Miller was very friendly, and full of smiles. Every business needs a Miller working there. He was exceptional with the guests and service!
