Highly Recommend For Any Sweet Tooth Fix! Have been a patron since they opened! Favorite Flavor: Strawberry Butter Favorite Rolled Ice Cream: Bannana, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Syrup with whipped cream and cherries
On August 29, 2025, around 8 p.m., my husband and I visited this location for the first and last time. We placed an order for one large esquite, one order of crazy nachos, and two small bowls of ice cream, approximately $4.50 each.
While waiting for the nachos to be prepared, we received three of the four items. Once the nachos were ready, we proceeded to the cashier to pay. The total seemed higher than expected, but my husband went ahead and paid. He then asked for a receipt. The cashier, a tall, slender, young-looking woman at the counter appeared surprised by the request but eventually provided one after he asked again.
When we got back to our car, my husband reviewed the receipt and noticed we had been overcharged. Instead of being charged the correct price for the two small ice cream bowls, we were billed $7.50 each for two larger bowls, items we never ordered or received.
From the car, I observed the employee glancing toward us, seemingly checking if we would return to complain. Shortly afterward, she stepped outside to clean the picnic tables. Given that it was late, and we had a 40 minute drive home, we decided not to go back inside and cause a scene.
This experience raises serious concerns. Was this a mistake, or was the employee intentionally charging incorrect amounts? I encourage management to review the cameras and receipts from that evening. If this was intentional, it reflects poorly on the establishment and could indicate employees are attempting to pocket extra money.
To top it off, the employees don’t greet you. One making an order, two other (women) gossiping and just staring at you.
I have attached a copy of the receipt as proof of the overcharge. (Look for it in photos of the establishment)
*Update: I just noticed the receipt shows a Cary address, this was not Cary. This is in Clayton beside the Lowe’s Food. I was visiting a friend near the area (Amelia Church Rd). So if the establishment wants to check their cameras, they can check the time stamp for the Clayton location. Charging customers something they did not order is not right. I’m not asking for anything free or my money back. Clearly I will not give them my money at any location.
One of the best ice cream places in town I've tried thus far.
Came to enjoy a afternoon snack got doriesquites chips were over a month expired
The fruity crepe burrito is simply fantastic.
Love this place. They have chocolate covered frozen bananas and strawberries, and wide variety of both popsicles and ice cream with north and Central American flavors. They also make great fruit drinks
The raspados are sooo delicious 10/10 & friendly staff!!!
The ice cream is delicious and made in house! The staff are so friendly! This place is our new family fav!
Friendly Staff, nice clean facility.
Ice cream, drinks have so much flavor, So much better than other competitors (i.e. Baskin-Robbins or Cold Stone.) My new go-to place for a cool dessert.
Ice cream was so soft and deicious. The place isn't much to look at, not exactly Instagrammable if that's what you're looking for, but it seems to have it where it counts!

The idea of a fruity homemade popsicle sounds amazing but they pack them full of processed sugar here. Fruit is sweet on its own so personally I wish they were more natural and just cold and refreshing. Especially with obesity rates sky rocketing in this country.
Mangonada was amazing. There are so many menu items to choose from that there is surely something for everyone! Can’t wait to come back and try something else.
Great little family spot for dessert. There’s many options to choose from (maybe too many), food was tasty and the ice cream flavors were plentiful. This location has a lot of seating, but on a busy day, might get filled quickly. If you haven’t tried it, it’s worth a visit!
I love the rolled ice cream, it is sooo good!
is good but the service is so bad, they don’t even know how to answer the phone properly
