Have always been a regular and loyal customer. Ordered to go this evening. Arrived 5 minutes before the ‘ready’ time. Sweet potato fries were cold, overcooked and inedible. Bun on the burger was burnt to a crisp (threw it away), ordered extra bourbon mayo which was not included. Very disappointing.

The food is delicious. There's not really any atmosphere though and at times service has been well below par. The last time I went in to eat there, I waited 30 minutes for a waitress to come to my table, after sometime seated me, while 5 of them were just standing around chatting the entire time. When I went to ask why no one had come to my table, they said they were just taking about who would be my waitress. So I got up and went to sit at the bar and was waited on instantly. I love the food so I usually order out fun them.

Love this place. Picked up my grandson at airport after three flight changes, so I know he was hungry. Server and restaurant were amazing!
Came here for a light New Year’s Eve dinner. The food was good! Nothing to write home about as it’s all the usual pub grub, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. The cocktails were delicious. We loved the Porch Lemonade to start out with and had the seasonal “Fa La La Cookie” for a little digestif after supper. Overall, I think our server Valerie made the experience. She was genuinely so kind, wasn’t hovering around the table, and gave great recommendations when it came to modifications, allergies, and the bar menu. I don’t come to Clayton a lot, but when I do, I’ll come back and request her and urge everyone to do the same. Thanks for ending our 2025 on a good note, and Happy New Year!

What a great experience! We came down from Graham to eat and then ride over to Lights on the Neuse. Little did we know what a wonderful place to eat Vinsons is! Our order was taken quickly and drinks stayed full. We also had a large group but our food arrived quickly and we were off to see the lights within an hour! Thank you Vinsons staff! We loved our meal with you!
