On the way home from Statesville my wife and I decided to call in a pizza at Mario's in Cleveland NC . It was very good and as close to authentic as you will get in these parts very pleased

This is absolutely atrocious. The drinks are vomit inducing, The drink taste like Mold. The chicken was 2 different shades, cheese was greasy. The salad was slimy. mozzarella sticks were okay, Spaghetti was bland, sauce lacked in flavor. Do not stop here, keep driving and find a McDonald’s. It is a better choice than this place.

A small town, middle of nowhere restaurant. This place has some of the best pasta we have ever tried. The Chicken Carbonara is awesome. We change the Chicken Parmigiana to white sauce because it makes it taste better. I heard it is a secret formula of goodness. They can also make good Philly Cheesestakes, and I think they put something special on their fries.

Seemed slow for lunch time. My sandwich was soaked in grease... Reason I got turkey was to stay away from the grease, can see in photo I used paper towels to soak up the grease. I have had fast food with less grease.

Honestly I'd rather just stay home. Food was hot but tasted meh, took a while to get it even during light service, and we ordered water to drink and it tasted like lettuce.

I can tell their ice machine has not it been cleaned in a VERY long time (used to work in the industry) and the water I ordered was absolutely disgusting because of it.
The waiter was somebody's kid who clearly didn't know how to or want to do the job.
I ordered a stromboli. The outside looks amazing but, unfortunately the inside had cold raw tomatoes, and the meat looked like those super cheap salad bar lunch meat of pre-chunked cubes, not what you expect in a stromboli.
If you're going down highway 70 just keep on trucking past
