“Today, my wife and I went to Keaton's Barbecue Inc. in Cleveland N.C. The restaurant was small, simple and unpretentious in appearance. The one woman who was the cashier, server and buswoman, was polite and efficient. My wife had a chicken breast and wing, with sides of green beans, potato salad, baked beans, and dessert of red velvet cake. I had a chicken breast and wing, with sides of cole slaw, mac and cheese and baked beans. The food was all very good. The only negative thing I can say about the restaurant is that there were a lot of flies. I'm estimating that there were about fifty of them in the small eating area. They were a constant annoyance, and created a very unsanitary eating experience. All things considered, though, we enjoyed our meal, except for the constant swatting and waving. If in the area, I think we would go back.”

“The Cleveland, NC Subway restaurant has seating for around 8, with standing room. The 2 employees were extremely polite and helpful. I needed something to eat on my way home and this corner location was perfect. I got a ham and cheese on cheese bread, with green peppers, mustard and extra pickles. In and out in less than 10 minutes. This will be my new stop when going to and from Landis/Enochville/ Kannapolis via the scenic route!”

“NC Donut Star is simply the Best! A coworker turned me onto theDonut Star and I have to fight the urge to go there sometimes because I battle with my weight. The donuts are light and fluffy. They are so soft and delicious. I am going to the beach today and I am going to pick up an assortment so my mom can try them. I have raved about this place and she is curious as to see what they taste like. I am sure that she will be delighted as I am. The store is clean and it is a great environment. All of the donuts in the case look so inviting that it is hard to choose what little beauty you will pick out. I am impressed! I highly recommend checking them out. Krispy Kreme Who? yeah, I said that.”

“I love Buckos fish Friday. So today I had my fish sandwich turned into a wrap to lose some bread. Light lettuce and light tartar. It was the bomb!! Lettuce added a little extra crunch and Buckos tangy tartar set it off in that wrap. It was a big flounder burrito. Will be my go to when I want fish now !!! Thank you guys for always making food hot, fresh and amazingly tasty!!”

“We visited this winery as part of a bachelorette party this weekend. The staff were amazing and well versed in their wine selection. They had great recommendations for tastings for our tasting preferences. The owner, Biff and his wife, catered to every need that we had and made the experience so fun. The wine was delicious. The private room that they hosted us in was beautiful. We will be back:)”

“I was camping at a nearby campground and googled a local restaurant. Google recommend several restaurants in the area, one them was the Round About Grill. This is an amazing little restaurant that has been hiding in plain view. The food is incredible and fresh. The restaurant has a home town feeling that is welcoming. Very friendly staff that speaks to you like they have known you forever. Most importantly, it is clean and smells incredible. Don't let the exterior fool you. highly recommend!”

“Let me start by saying that I'm a typical husband and waited until the last moment to get my wife her birthday cake. I called on Friday just a few hours before the shop closed without much faith in being able to get a cake. When I called Karen she asked what type of cake I was looking for. I told her a Strawberry Shortcake style/flavor cake. She said that she could do her version of it only because she had some cake left that day. I picked it up Saturday morning even though she wasn't actually open. We cut the cake today and let me say, it definitely didn't disappoint. It had so much flavor with the strawberry cake and then the cheesecake layer in the middle with sliced strawberries really made it. It was sweet but not too sweet. Anyone looking for a cake , I highly recommend this shop!”

“Ok, so I went here the first day after their grand opening… it was so busy but very slow service, i waited over an HOUR in the drive through line for my mobile order. Personally I feel like until they get “settled” don’t mobile order.. it was a terrible idea. Not only was the wait long by time I got to the window my drinks were all melted. The toasted bagel was hard as heck ( had to throw it out) my egg soufflé was cold I did still eat the egg and it was good! My 4 year old enjoyed his cake pop! I will try it again because it’s new I would just in person order and walk in. Hoping for better days. I heard great things about this brand and I’m hoping to be able to love it as well!”
