The dumplings were fresh and delicious - the best I have had at a small restaurant off the beaten path. Their fried rice was as good as any I’ve had anywhere else in the world. “Being from California, I have been searching the entire East Coast for a Mexican food restaurant that actually knows how to cook REAL Mexican food, it took me five years but I finally found La Familia here in Statesville and they DO NOT DISAPPOINT! Hands down, the best Mexican food I’ve had since moving from California (THE BEST BY FAR!) And to top it off, their prices are VERY reasonable! My son and I both got entire meals, drinks, and sides of rice and beans for $21!! They gained a new loyal customer today!! I’ll be back two or three times a week, really, it’s that good!!”

“I’m pretty sure it is under new management. Whenever I stop there for breakfast to get my liver mush, egg, cheese, slice of tomato on a bun, it is always delicious. Service is fast, everyone behind the counter is always friendly even when they are busy. On Wednesdays they offer choices of fish sandwich or fish combo plates that are reasonably priced and will satisfy your appetite. I definitely recommend if you are in the area.”

First off our server was so nice, welcoming, and informative, we chose to have an early dinner the place wasn’t to busy, but the punctuation with refills, the privacy during conversations I couldn’t have asked for a better waitress. The food was phenomenal! I chose the Hot Honey Pecan Crusted Salmon, my wife got the Mushroom Asiago Chicken, both meals were perfect with our wines. I’d 100% recommend, and I hope to make a trip back down sometime soon!”

The food is good. We have a pretty big family of picky eaters, but they never complain about Chinese when we get it from here.

There is no dine-in seating; this restaurant is currently take-out only. Some seats while you wait, but otherwise bring it home.

The food was great and our server Tiffany was amazing, but they had that poor girl running around like crazy. I can only assume they didn’t have a bartender on shift because Tiffany had to pour all of our beers and I just felt terrible for her. Otherwise everything turned out great just think they need some more help and a bartender on shift.”

“Ate there a couple weeks back, forgot to make a review, I was the first table that Server Certified Trainer Max got that day. I had a peach bellini ice tea, a light portion Lasagna, and Pasta e Fagioli. The tea was amazing, the perfect amount of syrup to tea ratio was amazing, she made consistent refills of soup, the portions were perfect, tea, and bread. The back of house made the soup perfectly, and the cheese was melted perfectly on the lasagna. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, needs more attention, very much a gem in Iredell county”
