“Well, I have to say I didn’t think our brunch would end in a hot rod ride around the block but it did lol. We walked in just passing by on our way to a winery and had a great experience all around! Food was really good and everyone was working very hard to get orders out. Jeff and Joanie provide a very hospitable atmosphere with good music and good vibes. On the way out the owner was nice enough to take my wife on a ride around the block in his sweet ride! Thank you for making our day!”

“Mezzaluna is an unassuming hidden gem in Statesville. The Owner/Chef along with his servers are friendly and appropriately attentive. They turn out dinners full of flavor and on point. The Salmon special as well as Shrimp Fra Diavlo was bursting with flavor. That said, here is the disconnect. The interior of the restaurant is not on par with the entrees they serve. The interior is dated with wood paneling and desperately needs to be refurbished, in order to deliver a complete dining experience. The table cloths were stained and could be seen through the glass placed on top. These are easy fixes and should not deter one from dining at Mezzaluna.”

“Very good Mexican food in a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Large portions, great service and prices. Parking can be a bit of a bear when the bar next door is busy. But that's the only potential issue.”

“My first time ordering from Speedy Pies did not disappoint. From the staff on the phone to the quality of my order….. everything was amazing! They make you feel like part of the family. “We had dinner at Chopstix with our two small boys. The Pad Thai was delicious and the chicken fried rice was pretty good too. The dumplings are shumai, not potstickers, which was fine but not what we were expecting. We ordered them fried, but I prefer shumai steamed. A good dining experience. I would recommend.”

Every time I order the spicy scallion chicken with extra chicken, I am stuffed.... and let's be honest: I'm a pretty greedy guy!Despite this, their portion sizes even satisfy my beast-of-a-appetite. The staff is always friendly and it's family owned. The dine in section is limited, but this seems like mostly a take-out space. I don't normally like onions, but I enjoyed the vegetable rice with them in it still a hint but not like some places with over powering amount just enough for flavor.Parking: Most of the time you have to park in parking lot accross the street and walk over because the parallel parking is usually full.”

“We ordered a cake for my daughter in laws baby shower and Andrea was wonderful to work with. Her communication was on point.The cake was the talk of the party. She made us a lemon cake with blueberry filling and buttercream icing. It was fresh, moist and absolutely delicious.If you need a special cake for an occasion - you will be so blessed if you go with Andrea:)”

“Stopped in and picked up four tacos to go. This is now in my top five for favorite tacos. Some of the best tacos I’ve had. The Pastor and Barbacoa tacos were perfect and not dried out. Tortillas were definitely the best I’ve had. They did not crumble and fall apart or break through. Service was fast, helpful and friendly. Excellent menu and a good variety of drinks. Large selection of Jarritos soda. The hot sauces for the tacos were excellent. Prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely be stopping again when I’m going through Statesville.”

“This is one of the best fish restaurants I've been to.The fish is super fresh and tasty. The flounder had impeccable seasoning and was crispy. I should of order 3 more baskets. They make their own tartar sauce and i should of bought a botyle. Make sure you get there before 5pm because there will be a dinner rush.”

“The food here is always consistently good, but the last two times I’ve visited, I’ve ordered a “baked” dish, with cheese on top that should be lightly browned. That’s not what I’ve gotten, though. Last visit, the cheese didn’t even come close to covering the top of the Sicilian Baked Ziti - it was on the center and off to one side, and looked like it had just been haphazardly laid on there and allowed to melt from just the heat of the cooked food - no evidence of it being placed under the broiler to brown it. The taste was very good, but would’ve been even better had that cheese be browned and more chewy!”

“La Pelusa is one of the BEST Mexican restaurants I have ever ate at. Friendly staff, delicious food, fair prices, and just wonderful all around. It may be a small restaurant but, don’t judge a book by its cover! I usually get the Pollo a la parrilla which is simply delicious but, I have tried alot there and they never disappoint! Definitely worth the trip.”

“This is a very good example of a chain restaurant. We've been through the drive-thru and ordered delivery. They have never messed up an order (and we have large orders) and the food is always exactly the same good quality. The few people we have dealt with in the drive-they have been pleasant, but most of the time we get delivery. Yes, they are still freaky fast as they advertise, and the food is freshly made. The sub bread is always soft, and my favorite. If you like Jimmy John's, then this one is for you.”

“This is a local franchise owned Dunkin' and is BY FAR the best Dunkin' around. They are much better than the Dunkin' Corporate shop on Highway 21 in Statesville. Orders are always accurate. Staff is always attentive and friendly. My only complaint is that the store isn't closer to my home! Great job guys keep up the good work.Parking: Parking is not great for this location due to the size of the lot and shared space with Hungry Howies Pizza. The drive thru frequently spills out into the road due to this. Still a great Dunkin' though despite the negative parking and drive-thru situation.”

“We get delivery from here a lot. They wrap it well and it's still very warm when it arrives. (I often forget to take pictures at home.)I only eat their Original Beef & Cheddar. As you can see from the pic, it's not an attractive sandwich, but it is always delicious. Their curly fries are good too. Their sides are fun - mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers are always good. My husband has had different sandwiches, which he's enjoyed, and more recently, the King's Hawaiian Fish Sandwich (limited special). He really enjoyed that. If I ever get here in person, I'll redo my review. But for now, I'm happy with their delivery through a service.”

“Definitely a old timey hole in the wall restaurant and bar. Place was old but clean, cheeseburger and hamburger steak with grilled onions was very tasty. Everything came out hot. The meat was seasoned and had lots of favor. The coleslaw was fresh homemade. Waitress was very sweet and efficient. My sweet tea was really, really excellent, brewed fresh. I am raving over tea here. I was very old establishment know that going in, but I went for the good food and company not frills. Was pleased.”
