“Chip's cafe was a delightful surprise! Best hamburger I've had in a long time. Fries and onion rings really good! Husband had BBQ plate with cole slaw and hushpuppies which he gave a thumbs up to. Quick service, food was hot and Iced Tea was perfectly sweetened. Highly recommend this little hide-away. And they still have a pay phone (for show only) but brought back some nostalgia.”

“First time customer, drove 30 minutes to try the wings. Onion Rings were great and the 3 flavors of wings that I got were amazing. The waitress was awesome!Now the bad part, the homemade chips were cold and the building is very dirty and rundown. If you go wear disposable shoes and don't look in the kitchen.The wings are really good!”

It's also easy to make vegan or vegetarian accommodations by grabbing a veggie sandwich.If you've never been, I recommend a Saturday morning visit (it will be busy) to grab a bag of donuts & some coffee.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here - stopped by completely on a whim as we stopped for gas. As you enter the restaurant, the grill smell hits you full and, if you are hungry, you will be hungrier! Prices are very great, and the burgers are excellent. Burgers made on a flat-top, fries came out crispy, the coin-sized tots were crispy outside and soft inside, and all was delicious. Had we not been driving as far, we would have gotten milkshakes.Expect counter service, smiling faces behind the counter, and an excellent, inexpensive meal.”

Breakfast/burgers and a few specialty items. Price is very affordable and the atmosphere is quaint. It reminded me of a cross between Cracker Barrel and a convenience store. (Small and comfortable.) Out in the middle of nowhere, but will definitely visit again!”

“i was talking with someone at the Y about good food, good price and good portions and told him where I normally would go. He asked if i had ever tried the Old Stage Grill in Yadkinville. Responding never, i visited last year to check it out. wow! I was impressed, the food was great, portions excellent and the staff are polite and very friendly. i enjoy baked catfish, baked porato, collard greens and hot rolls on Many Fridays after bowling or a round of golf. Every day there is a different special. I have no complaints...back tomorrow. That's whats up!”
