“Came for my birthday and loved the experience. First of all the atmosphere is great. Its beautiful inside and covered with photos of Yadkin County. Lots of great places to sit. The staff was all super nice, service was quick. And the food was amazing and really well priced. My fiance and I split fried pickles and the Mediterranean pizza and both were amazing. We will 100% be coming back and its honestly so nice to see a place like this in Yadkinville ❤️❤️”

“Happened upon this coffee shop’s cozy Elkin location when rerouted from I-77. The barista was so friendly, coffee was awesome, and it was a great break from our long drive on the highway. Downtown Elkin is so pretty, and this was a perfect coffee stop conveniently located right before Elkin’s Main Street! Worth a visit!!”

“Hey Yadkinites, today, instead of driving to Mocksville for East Coast Wings, I decided to try the wings at the Yadkin Plaza Restaurant. I’ve eaten there for years, but never tried their wings. Let me tell you, those were some of the best wings I’ve ever had, and this ole girl has had her share of wings over the years. They were laden with tangy, spicy buffalo sauce, and so crispy. Big, meaty wings too! Came with plenty of celery and ranch. I was amazed!!! Right here in Y’town. Who knew? Insider tip from our waitress…Order the “homemade sauce” at whatever heat level you prefer. That’s not on the menu. If you don’t specify, you’ll get out of the bottle sauce without the butter mixed in. If you’re an old school buffalo style wing aficionado like me, get your butt over there and give these bad boys a try!”

“Don Juan’s has the best and most authentic Mexican food in town. There isn’t always a set menu, as they are a store that has food and not a restaurant per se, so the food may vary from week to week, but it’s all very good, and it’s nice to be surprised. There is eat in and carry out. The staff is very friendly, and their prices are quite fair. The market or store (tienda) is well stocked with everything one needs for just about anything one would want to do. Chicken tamales on Sundays!”

“Never had a bad meal. Service is always phenomenal and genuine. For being in a small town, the menu is highly varied and all items are cooked well. Well priced, great flavor, very generous on chips and salsa (which are also excellent). A great unique mexican restaurant for Yadkin. Deserves all the business it can get!!”

“I come here, to the Yadkinville NC store, in the mornings and get an eggnormous breakfast burrito with a buffalo sauce cup. There is a guy who works the window in the morning and he is so nice! Most places are rude in the mornings which is understandable bc I’m also not a morning person. But that guy being nice every morning is super refreshing. I wish I would’ve gotten his name!! Burger King, please meet any needs that he may have and I fully believe he deserves a raise, or paid vacation, or something because it’s hard to find good, hardworking, and joyful employees. I’ll update once I figure out his name!”
