The manager come out and offered to get me another meat or make my steak over. She comped our bill, and handled the problem perfectly. “I went in today to get some of their pastries. The person that took my order asked me how I liked my sample box of coffee beans that I purchased a few days prior. I wasn’t expecting him to remember me as we only talked for a minute or so.I left knowing that I would be coming here for all my future coffee needs. “What an unexpected gem in a quaint little town. These folks are not messing around and put out some quality food and wine. The space is an old 1930s Belk department store that they renovated which is neat and the jazz music really added to the vibe. Lovely and delicious!”

“I went here on a random winter Friday in January. Bryan was super friendly and it was literally just me in the tasting room but it was very relaxing. The vibe was so nice even though it was windy out. I got to just chill by the window and do my flight and sip on a glass of their tasty cab franc. Highly recommend, any time of the year. They are open Fridays during Jan/Feb which is one of the few vineyards open this time of the year.”

“We stopped in for what we thought would be a quick cocktail, but we ended up staying for a few hours. Not only were the cocktails tasty and extremely well executed, they were visually appealing as well. We ordered the bacon and Brie flatbread which was so much better than we expected. The balsamic reduction drizzle was the star! Our server was the best. She was super friendly, very attentive and she just all around brought good vibes. Unfortunately I can’t remember her name, but she had fun green hair. I would say the Banana Puddin cocktail was my favorite, so delicious!! All thanks to our server for a great experience.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Haze Gray Vineyards. It was a pleasure getting to know Becky and Deane. The setting is beautiful! The tasting room is pretty, clean and a comfortable place to explore their wines. We loved the wines. There is something for everyone. Our favorite is the Petit Verdot. In general the east coast doesn't produce red wine with the full bodied characteristics we like. Their Petit Verdot was a wonderful surprise. We loved it! In total we left with a couple cases of wine, a mix of many of their wines. We look forward to sharing these delicious wines with our friends!”
