The food was delicious and priced fairly, the place was clearly cared for with attention and love, and the owner was very kind and welcoming. Would definitely come back anytime we're in Elkin!
Super nice people and great food! I called to see if dogs permitted in the outdoor seating area(which is very nice peaceful area) and was welcomed to bring them. Upon arriving I ordered and he reviewed all the charges on the screen before submitting. He then offered dogs some water and estimated how long until food would be ready. We got the Turkey bruschetta panini and the Southern Pimento sandwich. Both very good! We will definitely be back next time we are through this area!...read full review

We are out-of-towners, but have family that live in Elkin and Barking Coyote is a favorite of all. My parents eat here once a week and my mom has always been grateful for the extra care they take in addressing her special dietary needs. When I'm in town with my kids, they ask to come here right away because the sandwiches and desserts are so yummy. And it's owned and operated by the nicest people you'll ever meet! 5 stars for Elkin hospitality and flavor!
