Sat out on the patio with our dog and enjoyed a peaceful lunch. The owner (I'm assuming) came out to advise us when our sandwiches were coming and offered our dog some water. Sandwiches were tasty. I had a chicken salad which was nicely packed with chicken and not a whole lot of fillers like celery, etc. overall pleasant experience and we would eat here again.
This is the cutest little shop. The sandwiches were amazing. Everything in the deli cooler looked sooooo good. Definitely rate this one of the best lunches in Elkin.

We are out-of-towners, but have family that live in Elkin and Barking Coyote is a favorite of all. My parents eat here once a week and my mom has always been grateful for the extra care they take in addressing her special dietary needs. When I'm in town with my kids, they ask to come here right away because the sandwiches and desserts are so yummy. And it's owned and operated by the nicest people you'll ever meet! 5 stars for Elkin hospitality and flavor!

Super nice people and great food! I called to see if dogs permitted in the outdoor seating area(which is very nice peaceful area) and was welcomed to bring them. Upon arriving I ordered and he reviewed all the charges on the screen before submitting. He then offered dogs some water and estimated how long until food would be ready. We got the Turkey bruschetta panini and the Southern Pimento sandwich. Both very good! We will definitely be back next time we are through this area! Thank you!!

Cute name. Bare bones operation smack up against a very noisy road which made an otherwise pleasant patio hard to enjoy. Took 20+ minutes to deliver an uninspiring $10 egg salad sandwich despite there not being many customers. Go elsewhere.
