“Moved to Statesville recently from Mooresville. Been hard to find good Mexican food here in NC. Decided to try this place. It was really good! Our first visit, we had been waiting for 10 mins. It was busy. They totally skipped us & took another couple. The couple even said we were before them & still ignored us? Then seated us at the smallest table possible right by the kitchen door. Could barely fit all our food on the table. Wasn’t too happy about that. I got the chimichanga. It was good. We’ve since been back 2x. Second time I got the ACP. It was also good. Personally I think it needs more rice & queso. Too much chicken. I also wish the chicken was in smaller pieces. The weird part was they brought our food out in to-go containers? I even said something. But the woman didn’t seem to understand. Then saw on our receipt it said it was a to-go order? I don’t want to eat my food in tinfoil if I’m dining in. Plus food got cold quick. Not really sure how that happened lol. 3rd time we just decided to pick up the food.Overall it’s good food. I just think service could be improved. Definitely a communication barrier.“
“First time visiting, and it was my brother‘s birthday and everything from the service to the food was excellent. They even bought out a big plate of an ice cream dessert and it was delicious. Thank you for such a wonderful day and a great experience… We will definitely come back, Patrice “
“I got the street tacos shrimp and they were excellent! The Verde sauce was fresh and really good their salsa was really good the place is not much to look at I probably wouldn't eat inside but definitely get food to take on I got eight tacos and two things of refried beans for like $25!“
“This is my favorite place to take the kids or even have date night! After coming here once or twice the staff makes you feel like family! It's a positive atmosphere and the food comes out really quick, no waiting at all. One of our favorite restaurants!“
“I stopped here for lunch and the food, drinks, service, atmosphere was impeccable. I ordered the Fiesta Tacontento and a Long Island Ice Tea. This place is definitely worth a visit. It’s my new favorite spot. Can’t wait to go back again!!“
“First time grabbing a bite from this place. I actually work near by and a while ago someone stopped in our offices and left a handful of their menus. Thankfully they did because today they gained 2 new customers. I offered them up to a coworker who wasn't feeling well and forgot to pack a lunch. I offered to pick up whatever she wanted. She ordered their steak fajitas and I couldn't pass up an order of empandas even though I had lunch in the fridge. She truly enjoyed the fajitas. Neither of us expected them to come with a side order of chips and salsa which I willing accepted. I had 1 of 3 empanadas and it was really good. I ordered their steak, chicken and cheese combo. Not sure what 2 I'm left with but excited to reheat them in the airfryer. Victor is who took my phone order and who also greeted me when I walked in to pick it up. He was awesome! We will definitely be ordering again and they're only 6 mins away.“
“Great authentic Mexican food. The atmosphere is very pleasant. They have excellent margaritas and daiquiri drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a handicap ramp a little further from the front door that is there for the entire businesses located in the strip mall.“
“This is a tiny restaurant with tables and chairs that are not attractive. The bathroom was gross. The food was great!! Good prices! Many Latinos visited the restaurant while we were there. Good sign of great Mexican food. And it was great!!!“
“Philly cheese steak was fantastic. They put it on the same type of bread a Cuban is on and it was fresh and perfectly toasted. I'm typically not a huge fan of onions but these didn't overpower the sandwich and the peppers were great. Hush puppies were delicious and plentiful, the order had well over a dozen. By far best cheese steak in town.“
“We were stopping on a road trip for the night and this menu stuck out. The place is funky and fun. Even though they were short staffed and busy, they were flying around and friendly. The food was great. I had the pork belly tacos and my wife had a pizza and they were both delicious. Margaritas were incredible. Loved this place!!“
“I got the street tacos here. It was pretty good. The green salsa/hot sauce is pretty hot. Hotter than your typical salsas. So if you can't tolerate spice then beware.Plenty of seating inside too. So good spot to dine in. They were fairly quick with getting the food out.“
