On the way home from Statesville my wife and I decided to call in a pizza at Mario's in Cleveland NC . It was very good and as close to authentic as you will get in these parts very pleased
A small town, middle of nowhere restaurant. This place has some of the best pasta we have ever tried. The Chicken Carbonara is awesome. We change the Chicken Parmigiana to white sauce because it makes it taste better. I heard it is a secret formula of goodness.
They can also make good Philly Cheesestakes, and I think they put something special on their fries.

We visit Mario's a lot. Their food is always the best and made fresh to order. We are planning a visit tonight... can't wait. Best burger, pizza, wings, spaghetti, never had anything that wasn't delicious.
