It was an ok time overall. We had a shellfish allergy in the party and the waitress was nice and asked up front. When it came to asking about oil and fryers It was hard to pull information out of our waitress. Our party did find it odd that many of the items are cross contaminated with shellfish so many items we wanted were off the menu. Another party member ordered a salad and the croutons were chewy like they were stale. At one point he could not determine if he was eating chicken...
Went for lunch recently, we were warmly greeted and sat right away.
Server greeted us warmly and drinks orders came promptly.
Not a long wait for our food, nice to see the servers helping each other out.
The food itself was very good, grilled chicken sandwich. Shrimp and grits with nice large shrimp cooked just right but needed a bit more heat to bring it to excellent.

You don’t come across service like Max’s every day. He anticipated our needs before we even asked and made us feel truly cared for. Max made my first experience and birthday a great moment.
