Flies all the time we were there. Young girls serving - a bit unsure and smug. Filthy bathrooms. Only south Indian dishes - belying the restaurant name. Multiple entrance? Dark parking lot.Good ambiance and free bottled water. Average food quality.

Pretty bad!!They made a mess of Chicken-65 briyani order 3 times in 3 successive weeks… I complained on this over the phone & went in person, but the owner/partner, ball-less guy didn’t even have the decency to come talk to me about it & sent the servers to deal with a problem. (I pity them, for having a gut less owner) If you can’t show a speck of hospitality, don’t be in the business! Mistakes happen, I get that but 3 times is either they don’t care or they get enough business, so just one customer isn’t a big deal attitude, which is dangerous for them! I am frustrated as to how horribly it was handled, than the mistake itself! Not bad!If you see Thalapakkati Goat Briyani in their menu or weekend special… RUN… RUN FAR & reach Briyani Pot or Triveni who makes better Thalapakkati Goat Briyani !!Pathetic Thalapakkati Goat Briyani… It’s a briyani made in Seera Samba rice, these folks made in Basunathi rice… at least, if it had same aroma, taste of Thalapakkati.. No… Completely disappointed! If you can’t make something true to its authenticity, don’t try & bring ur reputation down! I was so frustrated!!Rest of the items are good but this was BIG letdown for someone who frequents here! ??

Got a Briyani Bonaza last week and it was good, and expected same quality this week as well , but totally disappointed , it’s not fresh and felt like eating leftover.

Worst service ! I know it’s busy time but you guys have to be attentive while taking orders and checking with us . I have to follow up each time for food including for the bill . Food isn’t that great we had paneer and chicken biryani . I have got a small hair in the ordered biriyani though I ignored . But the worst is service .

We ordered the Hyderabad chicken dum biryani and mughlai chicken curry. It took them 45-50 mins to get the food when we were the first ones entering the restaurant. People who ordered after us got their food earlier. The waitress, after a few times of nagging, uninterested, finally went to the kitchen and we got the food. Finally to find that both entres weren't tasting as good as they used to be a few years back. Felt like a waste of time, money and CALORIES!

As an Uber Eats and Door Dash Driver, the food is never ready. When told 15 minutes it can take upto 40min. Most people would not wait this long and just drop the order. Really hurts financially to be waiting that long unpaid. And yes I could have abandoned the order but someone is waiting for that order.

This was my second time going to Bawarchi and the experience was great! My family and I had the Gongura Veg Biryani, Baingan Bharta, Saag Paneer, Malai Kofta, and Garlic Naan. The gongura flavor was mild but the biryani was still tasty. My favorites were the malai kofta and garlic naan: the gravy was very creamy and rich and the naan was warm and buttery! The service was also very quick and the waiters were very receptive to our requests. Overall, I definitely recommend trying out this place!

We ordered 2 biriyanis at 8:20 pm as takeaway. The restaurant promised it would be ready in max 30’mins. I checked again at 850 and they promised it would take another 15 mins ..I again checked at 9:05 & this time they asked what did I order ..I was frustrated to know that they are looking for my order while I am waiting to pick it ..again they said another 10 mins since the chicken 65 biriyani was not prepared yet ..with 2 kids and already waited 1 Hour I asked them to give whatever they have available ..again took 5 mins and gave me shai biriyani …I didn’t get what I ordered as well as I had to wait for 1 hour .. frankly , service is poor and the shai Biriyani was not good at all taste wise ..I wish I had not visited ..

I have not been to this restaurant for the past 3+ years and i tried to give it a try hoping they would have changed for the better. Boy was i disappointed. Waiter showed up take order after taking their own sweet time.. Food didnt reach us even after 40 mins of us sitting there, no one cared to check and i had to ask multiple times before someone went into the kitchen to get the food out after 55 mins of us being at the table and they didnt care to explain or apologize. They had a live dosa station and served dosas with just one pitiful of a chutney!!. Who serves dosa without Sambhar (isnt it sacriligeous). why even advertise for dosas when you cant even serve it with a basic accompaniment. The only saving grace was the biryani.Never again!!

This was our first visit to this restaurant. I was skeptical because we were eating much earlier than we normally do at 5:30 and the place was empty, just opening for dinner. Ambiance... meh. To me, it felt stale. Of all the Indian places we've been, this lacked character and smiles. I really think they need to pay attention to the little things. I thought the floor was dirty, black scuffs on the walls and French fries on the floor. Their wait staff need to find another place to hang out other than in front of customers. I saw multiple people eating and just standing around. It was weird they were standing right behind us while we were eating and made it a bit awkward. Food... like others have said, too hot for spice. Even the samosa had heat to it that we were not expecting. I loved the dumplings but the sauce was too hot for the hubby. I thought samosa also had a great flavor. We asked for the goat korma to be mild and I thought it had heat, and I like the heat (unlike the hubby). The goat was chewy, did not fall off the bones and not enough meat. The saag was really good but Lordy did it give me some of the worst indigestion! Typically don't have that issue with the saag so I'm not sure what was different. Overall, I'm not sure I'd go back and give them another shot. We did see lots of takeout orders sitting on the bar and people picking up to go.
