Stopped here on my way home to Greensboro from Charlotte. Ordered 2 appetizers (pulled pork egg rolls & tator tots topped w/ their DE-licious beef brisket) and they were good sized portions. The tator tots were my absolute favorite! My new favorite bbq spot!!
I had forgotten about Sonny’s! We passed by yesterday and my son asked to go. Could not be more pleased. The food, service and price was fantastic! We shared a 2 meat plate with pulled pork & tossed tenders, Mac n Cheese, tater tots and I got a side salad. Everything was great. The side salad was huge and very good I remembered the days of the salad bar Sonny’s used to have. The bbq was just right and the tenders as well. Definitely returning!
I ordered a sampler plate. Hands down the best barbecue in the Charlotte/Concord area. All four meats, the burnt ends, pulled pork, bbq chicken breast, and ribs, were moist and delicious. Extremely generous proportions of meat and sides. The bbq beans and coleslaw were excellent sides to accompany my meal. The prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere and service were superb. Mina provided excellent service and great recommendations.
