OhMy Goodness!

Workers don’t even smile or talk. Kitchen looks dirty and unkempt. Fries were so stale it was laughable. $9.99 for a hard, cold “soft” pretzel. I can’t believe this place exists. Save your time and money. Bring your own snacks.

Dried over cooked burger, it was the bunless burger so all it was was the patty and it was gross. None of the restaurants at the attraction are good. WELL Overpriced for the convenience. Also, caesar salads are not healthy, is it that hard to have some other option than fast food? Disgusting. Service is also terrible, but I cant blame the workers shoveling out the garbage like you are stuck on a cruise ship. My eight year old doesnt know any better, but parents be prepared if you are vacationing at the lodge.

I actually really like the Buffalo chicken. Perhaps my standards are low when it comes to MASSIVELY overpriced chicken but I digress... you are timed when getting a drink, which is odd considering they aren't overly concerned with getting you your $30 chicken strips to you before they get cold as you wait in line for 20 minutes to retrieve the food that a text message told you was ready. If you're going to text me that the food is ready, you better be ready to hand it to me IMMEDIATELY and not scoff at me when I approach you and tell you that I'd like my food THAT I CAN SEE sometime before the week ends. Absolutely horrendous customer service. Do yourself a favor and bring your own meals and snacks. Do not give these people any of your hard earned dollars. They deserve NOTHING.

Food is bad, just bad. Fruit was spoiled and soured and the nachos tasted like nothing more than canned olives. Expectations were clearly low for a quick service spot in GWL, but it was effectively a zero.

Carnival food at best. Hot dog was completely wrinkled (way past point of serving) and placed on cheap bun. Recommend getting lunch at nearby restaurants (ie Subway) to enjoy a better lunch poolside.

Automated machines that don’t work. No refills allowed on drinks. Didn’t refill the ketchup bottle. Terrible customer service. Bland burger.

The Great Wolf Lodge Concord provides a fun, fabulous time for everyone! This Mimi of two received the request for a Howling birthday (turning 6) weekend after her sister’s Howling birthday (turned 8) weekend in August. The staff is friendly, professional, helpful, and ready to assist from before you arrive to the end of your stay. They don’t fail to make the kiddos feel special, welcomed, and wanted! That means a lot to things grandma since the kids are the reason we come! Our room has always been clean. And while there may be some areas that the hotel needs to update, staff is always available to ensure that even with the large crowds the property’s cleanliness is maintained. (To the best of my memory, each time we return, those things that needed replacing in the prior visit have been replaced.) Birthday packages are set up in the room between 4 and 6 PM. It is always a pleasant surprise. Either way! From the banner on the door to the birthday cake and balloons, the one cream cone, and of course the arcade card, it’s a special treat, indeed. Speaking of Birthday packages, we , personally, do not do the package that includes pizza because the pizza is not to our liking, but that’s OK because Concord, NC has a wide variety of restaurant options to suit our fancy. The restaurant within the hotel offers a Buffet for breakfast that we do choose to eat. It’s convenient way to get the kids fed so they can start their fun. There’s an ice cream shop, a gift shop that has a big wall of candy, coffee shop, donuts, an arcade, bowling, a quest—so many fun things to do under one roof! The resort is rather pricey, but if you plan ahead, or keep an eye out in your email as a member, you will find times that you can book your rooms quite inexpensively. Saving on the room means more cash in your budget for other activities within the resort or outside of it. My grands having been here multiple times don’t always have to do the quest or the arcade. Sometimes they’re just as happy to enjoy the water park and get an ice cream cone. Overall, if you play your cards (timing) right, the resort offers a big bang value for your buck!

OMG please do not go here. Our 2 girls, ages 7 and 8, have been begging us to go to Great Wolf Lodge. I wish I had read the reviews first. I had low expectations coming in because lets face it, indoor water parks are never fun. But it was even worse than I imagined. First of all it's ridiculously expensive and SOOO overcrowded. The water park is just swarms of people on the weekend, hardly even one seat available, and everyone there is like the people you would see at a rural Walmart at 2am... and its CRAZY loud in the water park. Like we were yelling at each other and could barely hear the other person talk. The food is terrible, the pizza is gas station level. Many things don't function properly because of sheet over use and the rooms suck. The whole place is dingy and dim lit. The beds are uncomfortable and the kids bunk beds have the tiniest, thinnest blanket? Like a blanket for a toddler instead of a comforter. We asked for them to bring us an extra one and they did but it was dirty and had someone else's hair attached to it with stains. So gross! There are grown idiot guests paying high prices to do kids activities like the magic quest game. If your kid is under 48 inches, get ready to ride every slide with them because they can't go on the slides alone. The slide lines are of course long because there are too many people in the water park to begin with. Seriously, never ever again would I come here. Big disappointment, I can't believe this place has 4 stars.

The French fries had no flavor and no salt available and the chicken tender was flavorless and the burger made my tummy upset the ketchup was labeled as heinz and taste like an off brand.

You have to pay extra to do anything at hotel not included in price of room. The food was nasty and over priced. The pancakes was crunchy and scrambled eggs was either crunchy or soggy. One meal even made us sick.

If Walmart were a water park….actually, it’s not that bad. While the rooms are tired and in dire need of improvement, the hallways and main areas looked freshly painted. You are going to a large, indoor water park so I advise that everyone is up to date on their shots. The food is exactly what you’d expect, terrible bar food on par with a gas station taquito. The restrooms are very clean, likely from their sparse use. My advice is to go with slightly older children that can roam the park with the buddy system that doesn’t necessitate parents actually getting in the water and bringing home pink eye as a souvenir. All in all, I’m glad we went, but would not return. It’s an indoor water park after all. The cabana is a must. Yes, the price seems high, but under no circumstances can you endure this place in gen pop. High note, pool near us was only closed once for “contamination”.

The place was so packed, people were elbow to elbow in the pools? . The food court was filthy, dirty tables, hand sanitizer dispensers empty. My kids both started throwing up and became violently ill shortly after our stay. My youngest had to be rushed to the ER for fluids because he couldn’t keep anything down for 24 hours. My husband also got ill and finally me as I writing this. Drs confirmed Noro virus. I have reported Great Wolf Lodge to the health department. Unacceptable and improper hygiene practices of the water Park. Kids were out of school for 5 days and my husband and I out of work. We have never been so sick and will never return! A howling good time hovering over the toilet!!! No thank you.

I was there for a business conference, only to be called the next morning and informed my car along with multiple others (16) had been broken in - the windows had been smashed. One truck had been stolen. The management did apologize and were available in securing help to clean the glass and cover the window. What I learned later is what is so concerning - this is a high crime area. This property has occurrences of this type (vehicle larceny and theft) repeatedly. Police reports confirmed at least three or more times last year. Yet, there is no security patrol in place, no cameras in the parking areas - all while this property was booked full. 5 guns were stolen from vehicles that night - very scary. What if a guest had walked outside while this was going on? Is there no concern for guest safety? Why is nothing in place to help prevent this? Reason for two stars - The kids enjoyed the waterpark/arcade time and the room was clean and accommodating - The safety concerns trumped the perks of the resort - Ruined what was supposed to be a fun time including my family while working.
