5/5 - Had a blast at Michael Waltrip Taproom in Charlotte! The place was lively and fun with pool tables, karaoke nights, and an unbeatable atmosphere. Great spot for NASCAR fans or anyone looking to unwind—highly recommend!

Very warm inside, asked server to turn ceiling fans on and she did for about 10min. Our whole group of 10 just sweating sitting there.

How are you out of your signature beers? The ones available were subpar. The cheese sticks tasted frozen. I’m surprised he’s still in business. I’ll definitely not be back or recommend to anyone. Just like his driving back of the pack.

We got seated and waited. After 10 min I walked over to bar and ask bartender if there was someone serving this side. She said someone will be with us shortly. After another 10 min, the server from the other side came over to take the order of the table next to us. We notice that the dirty dishes were piling up b kitchen area. The place was half empty. If it weren't for the dozen Miami fans, there would be no one there. We left. Micheal needs to pull an undercover operation! So sad on an NFL day.
A very mixed review. The beer is great, the food was good. The service was terrible. The waitress was nice and we got seated quickly (although a lot of other people waited 5-10 min before anyone acknowledged them at the door). Drinks came out fine but the food took right at an hour despite the place being maybe 1/3 full and then it came out with a missing item that took a while to get and none of it was really at the right temp…not cold but not fresh. Lastly when we finished eating the waitress came over and said “wow did you even taste the food?!?!” Implying we ate it very quickly. Kinda rude and I guess she failed to realize we had gotten our food probably 30 min earlier so we had plenty of time to enjoy the meal. Overall, I think I’d skip coming here again unless I was just going to sit at the bar and get a drink or two.

Great Place for the family. Our waitress April was fantastic. Reasonably priced food and drinks. Darts, pool, some kids games, lots of fun. We will be visiting again.

The chicken sandwich looked and tasted like it was just frozen and then popped in an oven or microwave. No flavor ect. The max and cheese was basic and bland and the noodles were super soft. It tasted fine but wasn’t worth the price and I wouldn’t return. Service was good for the most part. The greeter didn’t have any menus and forgot to tell the waitress. We were seated near the outside and the cigarette smoke could be smelt. The lighting was also odd.
