Very yummy food!!!! We absolutely the sweet lady who owns this place, she always remembers us and treats us so well every time we dine in or order takeout! I have tried multiple menu items, but highly recommend trying the pad Thai of course! You can choose your protein and spice/heat level. You can even get it with zero spicyness if that's your preference. If you like a little heat, try level 2 or 3! It's very good with the chicken! They also have delicious appetizers as well, the Bangkok rolls are fantastic, as well as the lettuce wraps!!! So good!!! I have tried this other dish that was literally served in a pineapple, it had veggies and rice, it was so very good! We've never had a bad experience here. Like I said, the owner is always very pleasant, as well as the waiters and waitresses. It's a very clean place and decorated beautifully. You can really taste the love in the food! Give it a try!!

Pad Thai chicken which is stir fried thin rice noodles with bean sprouts, spring onions, scrambled eggs and peanuts was toothsome. Quantity was colossal, adequate for 2 people. Small segment of rice noodles were burnt; otherwise it would be exceptional dish.

Food was overpriced and poorly made, they only use Styrofoam whether you eat inside out takeout.Booths were worn out and filthy. Tables needed cleaning. Nothing a daily mop and wipe down couldn't fix.For a $20 Chicken Pad Thai I just thought they could have done better. They upcharged for everything.

Run down! Tables, counters, floors, blinds were dirty. Food was mediocre. Our 1st and last time there. Very disappointed. Service was friendly.

Got takeout from this location one night for dinner. Pad Thai with an order of spring rolls. I get home and open the pad Thai container only to find a rubber band still in place on a large chunk of green onions. These could not have been cleaned properly and is simply unacceptable.

The food is really good but it's disappointing that they won't open their dining room. If you want to go somewhere to sit and eat, you can go to Thai House, which isn't far away.

Soild family owned Asian place. Green curry was good with medium spice. Rich and hint of sweet in the heat. Also ordered house noodles. Would go back.

Ordered on Uber Eats for takeout the first time. The lady working the counter suggested calling in to order next time, because it’d be cheaper for me. I have gotten take out from there a couple times now, and everything has been great. Generous portions

This was a great quick space for my mom and me when we were car shopping across the street. The owner was very friendly and greeted us with a smile as well as her personal recommendations. The thai tea was delightful as well as the fried rice I had. Word of caution though, their spicy level is SPICY! And that isn't a bad thing! It just caught me by surprise. I love that everything is made in a to go box right away because of the amount of food that is provided. Excellent food and excellent service! Thank you!

I recently moved to the Charlotte/Concord area and decided to try this restaurant. Ordering Thai on a Friday night in is my jam, so I found this on Yelp and gave it a try. I really hate giving a bad review for a local restaurant (especially being that is my favorite type of food). I'm coming from the northeast where there's really good Thai food, and I eat it at least twice a month for the past 20 years. And I pretty much order the same couple dishes : panang curry with tofu, spicy eggplant with chicken (which they didn't have), and green curry with chicken or beef. Sorry to say this was not good at all. It was watered down and inauthentic. I ordered panang, and it looks like red curry very watery very little taste, broccoli mixed in, and didn't have any coconut cream, shrimp paste, and peanut flavor that's customarily present in the dish. Panang is a thicker sauce than regular red curry everywhere else I've had it. I knew that it wasn't authentic when I asked her for side of fish sauce with the chilis (and she looked at me crazy) she said they don't have that, that people in the area don't ask for that because it's too strong ofa smell and taste. I looked in the table for the customary sauces on the table of most Thai restaurants, it was no where in sight. Maybe I ordered the wrong dish. But given that they don't use authentic ingredients I don't recommend if you want anything close to authentic flavor and presentation.

The food is good. You get alot of food for the price you pay. Service isnt always quick, but it seems to be only one person sometimes 2 working so it's understandable. It's been hard to find good authentic Thai food since the closing of Thai Taste on Prosperity. This has been the best. We love it. For those complaining of bland taste, Ive found that the ingredients tend to have settled or been boxed underneath the noodles. It helps to simply mix it up.

If you are looking for great authentic thai food at a good price, Mai Thai II can do that for you. The food, truly, is the best Thai food in the Charlotte area. Ive been a patron there for 5 years and the food is always so savory and fresh. The owner is very personable and strives to make sure you are satisfied with your order. I have a gluten intolerance and she always provides options for me without losing flavor.Vegetarian options: The tofu is always plentiful with every dish I have ordered.Dietary restrictions: A lot of Gluten Free options.
