Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Best place in Concord as far as food and service. Really clean and very friendly staff. We have eaten there whenever we stay in Concord hotels. That is often. We have always been seated quickly even when its packed. The endless soup salad and breadsticks never fail to fill us and the spinach artichoke dip is outstanding. You can get a decent wine for about $25 a bottle and sometimes less during certain days and times at the bar. Overall this is an excellent choice and within less than a mile of most of the hotels in the Speedway area.

Enjoyed our recent dinner visit to Olive Garden in Concord, NC. We arrived and were greeted at the entrance by the hostess who said there was a short wait for a table. She took my phone number and said she was text us when our table was ready. After a short wait I received the text and we were escorted to our table. She left us with menus. We were immediately greeted by our server Nickie who offered us beverages and we ordered water with lemon. When Nickie returned she inquired our food order. She did well to suggest an appetizer for starters but we just ordered the buy one take one special which included salad and Olive Garden's famous breadsticks. We both ordered the chicken parmigiana. Salad was served after a short wait along with warm breadsticks. Nickie shred some parmesan cheese on the salad and left. We started eating our salad which was crisp and nicely chilled. We were about a third through our salad when a food runner brought our entrees. We both felt rushed and wished that there was better timing on serving of our entrees. Food quality of the chicken parm was very good. Plates were hot and pasta cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the marinara sauce. Service throughout was very good and Nickie insured our water glasses were full. We took leftover chicken home with our entree to go. Nickie insured we also had a couple of breadsticks to take home as well. She did well to suggest dessert but we had to decline. I noted a health department score of 97 which indicates the team at the restaurant is doing a very good job insuring food safety standards are met. Overall a good experience and Nickie was very hospitable. We like being able to pay at the table and do a survey of your experience.

The food was a little salty. The restaurant is pretty. The service was good.

I can’t rate the food because we never got service to order any. We arrived and there was no wait. We were sat in a busy section but the rear section was still relatively empty. After about 10 min our waitress was trying to serve the table next to us and I think she asked another waitress to help her with us or to take the table for her. The other waitress agreed but was Sat and so she began to wait on them. Our waitress had some complaints with the same table and had a manager help her with the table next ours at about 15 min in to our adventure. I tried to flag down the manager but honestly I probably didn’t do a good enough job. So that’s on me. Shortly their after or waitress identified herself to be helping us. Threw some coasters on the table and said I’ll be right back. 25 min wait and she was no where in-site, no bread sticks, no salads, and no waters. We decided to go to Carrabba’s where we had an amazing meal with amazing service.

Not a really pleasant experience which is rare for an Olive garden. The new one in Statesville that is. The server kept saying "of course" which became a little annoying. There were 4 in my party and they gave us a table for 2. Not the best time I've had.

Lala went above and beyond to make sure my family had a great dining experience. She offered my son an alternative drink when they were out of his favorite. He loved it. Then, when another son knocked over a tea that spilled, she quickly assessed my 14 year old was embarrassed and upset and made sure he was comfortable again.
Swapping out his chair for a dry one. As a father of sometimes difficult group of teens, I appreciated her attention to keeping everyone level so my wife and I could enjoy our meals.

Service was great food was good. But how ironic that got the same booth that we had the time before. And the pictures hanging on the walls have sauce all over them and very gross, and I noticed it when we were there a few months ago around Christmas and we recently went back and was seated in the same booth. And the same sauce is still smeared on the picture, pretty disgusting.

Great place at a great location. I would definitely recommend downloading their app to check the wait time as they can be quite busy during the weekend. Overall great place with some great and fast staff!

My husband and I decided to leave the Red Lobster next door after realizing it wasn't worth our time or effort for such a special occasion. It turned out to be the best choice! From our friendly hostess, who chatted with us on the way to our table, to our amazing waitress Debbie, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable, everyone was exceptional. The gentleman who delivered our food also shared his love for bringing out dishes, which I really appreciated. To top it off, the owner kindly stopped by to talk with us about his incredible staff and restaurant. Everyone was so warm, positive, and made our evening truly special. And the food? Absolutely delicious—served promptly, fresh, hot, and full of flavor! We’ll definitely be returning to this location.😁
