I LOVE donuts. I visit a donut shop everywhere I go. I also get donuts to share with coworkers every month, so when I moved to Charlotte I was excited to check out the scene. I stumbled on OMG donuts and got hooked! The dough is pefectly airy.
The sea salt caramel, lemon, and maple bacon always get rave reviews!

Absolutely delicious donuts! I thought they were extremely pillowy and fresh, and I love that you can costumize them by filling with cream or jam. My family got the apple fritter, maple bacon, and two cream-filled. All were great.

Writing this based on service. I arrived at 1pm and they close at 3pm but they were completely out of donuts. If this was a one time thing, I could excuse it because things happen but i have no learned this is not unusual for them to run out of donuts which is odd. if you’re open from 6:30-3 and you’re running out this much then what’s going on?? Not everyone can wake up and be there from 6:30-1 to get donuts.

We love OMG glazed (cake) donuts & drive a lil extra just to get them... They also have yummy random flavors (samoa, coconut, fruity pebbles...) and their apple fritters are 💣!

I just discovered this place after reading an article about it that was published about 6 months ago. It claimed that OMG has the best apple fritters in NC. I am from the Raleigh area, but my daughter lives in the Charlotte area. When I found out that it was only a 20 minute drive to Concord to get these, we had to go. The fritters, no joke, are the best ones I have ever had. Then the concept of picking which type of filling I wanted in the donut I chose was “next level”. The donut might be cookies and cream, strawberry shortcake, samoa (like the Girl Scout cookies), long john’s, etc). But then they wait to fill it until you decide what you want - Bavarian cream, vanilla cream, chocolate cream, jelly (?). They also have ring donuts - chocolate frosted, glazed, etc. The concept is unique and delicious. They now have a second location in Charlotte, so depending on where in Charlotte you are, this one or the Concord location may be better for you. I highly recommend that you treat yourself and your family here!!
