I just discovered this place after reading an article about it that was published about 6 months ago. It claimed that OMG has the best apple fritters in NC. I am from the Raleigh area, but my daughter lives in the Charlotte area. When I found out that it was only a 20 minute drive to Concord to get these, we had to go. The fritters, no joke, are the best ones I have ever had. Then the concept of picking which type of filling I wanted in the donut I chose was “next level”. The donut might be cookies and cream, strawberry shortcake, samoa (like the Girl Scout cookies), long john’s, etc). But then they wait to fill it until you decide what you want - Bavarian cream, vanilla cream, chocolate cream, jelly (?). They also have ring donuts - chocolate frosted, glazed, etc. The concept is unique and delicious. They now have a second location in Charlotte, so depending on where in Charlotte you are, this one or the Concord location may be better for you. I highly recommend that you treat yourself and your family here!!

First time here and the donuts were very tasty. Fluffy, big, and not dry. Placed order online and pickup was easy. Also ordered Thai Tea and it was pretty good! Definitely recommend stopping by if your in the area. I did order early in the morning, so no problem with selections. My husband has been looking for a strawberry shortcake donut with filling and he was not disappointed.

Where to begin. I was attending an event and needed to get some doughnuts to take. I read good reviews on this bakery and it was convenient. So they close at 4:00 but...they were basically out of doughnuts at 2:30 (August 2, 2025). Very poor service planning. Can’t be because the doughnuts were exceptional. Meh. The chairs were on the tables and another young lady was sweeping or mopping. As a business person, that is weird I thought. So that's that. Then I had the misfortune of speaking with a young lady, short, maybe Caucasion, dark hair about 28 who said she was the manager. I am not sure though as she was smirking when I asked if she was the manager. Yes, smirking. So, I did not have my glasses on as I had left them in my car. I started asking about pricing and trying to make a dozen of something with what was left. She was condescending, seemed annoyed at my questions for some reason and did not try to hide it. She kept saying...as it says on the menu...blah, blah blah with a TUDE. Like is this real...come on. Is it that hard to tell me prices??? This is about the POOR service at this store. I recommend Jelly Doughnuts or Sugar doughnuts. Not close but great everything at those similar spots according to friends.

I stopped by on my way back to Atlanta, and I'm soooooooo glad I did. I love the fact that I can choose my own filling, because that vanilla buttercream is the TRUTH. And I waited a day to eat the apple fritter, and it still smelled and tasted like they just made it. Literally melted in my mouth. I just wish it had more apples!
I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.
