My Husband received a gift card for his birthday for Texas Roadhouse. Not a place we frequent, but it’s nice to mix it up now and then, right? Because we had the gift card, I signed up for their rewards and received a free appetizer coupon. The day we went (today) I received a promotional email that if you purchase a digital GC for $30+, you’ll receive a $5 bonus GC for free. So, we went with $60 in gift cards and a free appetizer coupon. We visited around 3:15pm, it was quite busy, hostess was propping the door open and taking names and phone numbers to add to the waitlist. Took our name and phone number, stated we’d receive a text message when we were up to be seated, and told us about 10 minutes or so, no problem. The couple in front of us was also waiting outside (over 90 degrees today), they received their text message and went inside. We sat outside for about 10 more minutes, seeing multiple people walking in and not coming back out (we were the only 2 people sitting outside still waiting). We went inside to see if there was any room to at least sit in the A/C, there was. Two sets of two people came in and were told to follow one of the hostess to a seat. Wait, what? They weren’t on the waitlist, I hadn’t received a text message, and they’re being seated from walking in after we had been waiting for about 20 minutes at this point. My Husband goes up to the hostess (there was 1 behind the counter) and about 4/5 standing around up front as well and stated that we’ve been on the waitlist for almost 20 minutes and people are being sat before us. She said she could seat us now. No apology for the inconvenience, but actually the opposite. The hostess behind the counter turned her head and either looked, mouthed, rolled her eyes… something to the other hostess because she smirked at her after she turned her head (the one who took my name and phone number) and off we went. On our way to the table the hostess had the audacity to ask how we were doing, yes the one that took my name and phone number. Luckily, my Husband was in front of me and said we were good. No we absolutely were not. Had she asked me, I would have told her how we were. Not good. You could at least sincerely apologize and I would have understood that things happen. So, why the heck am I still recommending this place? Charly. Our server Charly was absolutely top tier and saved the butts of her co-workers incompetency. She was friendly, attentive, and a great server! I had more Diet Coke on the table as soon as I was about to finish my first one… that is when you know you have a GREAT server (one of many reasons). So, thankfully Charly turned our experience from absolutely never coming back to we’d ask to be in her section again if we returned. All in all, hostess’ need more training on how to apologize when they make a mistake (and to not turn your head annoyed with your customers when YOU messed up), while Charly needs a promotion and a raise.
This is a very efficiently run Texas Roadhouse. We pulled in and were put on the waitlist before even getting out of the car. The manager checked on us during service and the waitress kept our drinks full and the rolls coming out :)
Parking was not ideal as we had to park at the hotel.

Absolutely our favorite steakhouse. They have great steaks and their side items are always good. They have the best salad around. And of course they always have delicious Rolls while you wait.

Our server was excellent. She was always smiling and cheerful. We never lacked anything. The food was excellent, too. A little loud inside, but I guess that is normal.

The kiosk was loading up when I tried to use my card to pay. Waitress quickly took my Visa card and went out back with it. It was compromised that evening. It could be a coincidence, but be careful using your card here. I called the restaurant. The manager blew me off. She didn't even want the name of the waitress. Pay with cash.

This is hands down the busiest Road House I've ever been to! Parking is not great, but there are hotels around you can park at and walk. Food was fast and hot, 1 steak slightly over but not enough to send back. Staff was friendly and they were running a smooth service. Great example of how to make a crazy Friday night bearable at a busy restaurant. Good job everyone who works here!!!

Trash fell off a waitress tray while rushing past .. to much to write about but wasn't exactly happy with the way they kept passing it off like it wasn't a big deal that trash fell on my plate. Not cool guys.somes receipt right on my food wtf? Napkin too...

Everything was wonderful! I gave the food 4 stars because I had to send my steak back. I asked for well done, and it was still red on the inside. They fixed it, and it was great.
