I went here tonight for supper and it was absolutely terrible. The server came maybe once or twice. When they brought our steaks it was absolutely wrong we asked for medium rare and got well done not once but twice. I then go into the bathroom where I find employees in the same stall vaping. I go into the same stall when they finally come out and there is empty buzz balls in there. I really don’t recommend coming here!!

This was one of those dining experiences that reminds you what great service really feels like. Everything was five star from start to finish. The restaurant was packed, but it never felt that way. We were told there would be a 15 minute wait and were seated immediately, which set the tone for the rest of the night.
I cannot say enough good things about Ianya, our waitress. She has such a warm, beautiful personality and made us feel genuinely cared for the entire time. She stayed calm, attentive, and kind even with how busy it was. Our drinks were never empty, we never had to ask for anything twice, and we never once felt forgotten. She made us feel like we were her only table.
Service like that is rare and deserves to be recognized. Because of Ianya, this experience stood out in the best way. We will absolutely be back.

We went to the university location. We were Looking forward to having dinner. My whole meal had to be remade, and I was shocked when they had to take the salad back and me if I wanted to upgrade for a extra charge. 1st off i should not have been charged at all. Actually we should have just went to another place to. The salad tastes like it had just came out of The bottom of the unwashed buckets. The steak had so much seasoning on it And toomuchsalt. You can look at it and know there was a problem. I have medical issues and that was a shame.

The food is usually good but today it was horrible, should shut down the location for that food. Steak was over cooked and grilled shrimp wasn’t grilled. The shrimp was also for popcorn shrimp

Me and my husband went here for the first time to celebrate my birthday the food was amazing and even the hurricane margrita was on point and everything was fresh my server was very sweet to us I had a little issue with my steak and they immediately took care of it I was very pleased I will definitely be going back and I stay in charlotte so the drive was worth it!!!!! THE ATMOSPHERE WAS VERY PLEASANT AND EACH SERVER WAS VERY NICE AND HAPPY LOL AND ALSO THE MANAGER WHO WAS THERE LASTNIGHT WAS SO SWEET THANK YOU GUYS FOR A GREAT BDAY DINNER!!!!!

My Husband received a gift card for his birthday for Texas Roadhouse. Not a place we frequent, but it’s nice to mix it up now and then, right? Because we had the gift card, I signed up for their rewards and received a free appetizer coupon. The day we went (today) I received a promotional email that if you purchase a digital GC for $30+, you’ll receive a $5 bonus GC for free. So, we went with $60 in gift cards and a free appetizer coupon. We visited around 3:15pm, it was quite busy, hostess was propping the door open and taking names and phone numbers to add to the waitlist. Took our name and phone number, stated we’d receive a text message when we were up to be seated, and told us about 10 minutes or so, no problem. The couple in front of us was also waiting outside (over 90 degrees today), they received their text message and went inside. We sat outside for about 10 more minutes, seeing multiple people walking in and not coming back out (we were the only 2 people sitting outside still waiting). We went inside to see if there was any room to at least sit in the A/C, there was. Two sets of two people came in and were told to follow one of the hostess to a seat. Wait, what? They weren’t on the waitlist, I hadn’t received a text message, and they’re being seated from walking in after we had been waiting for about 20 minutes at this point. My Husband goes up to the hostess (there was 1 behind the counter) and about 4/5 standing around up front as well and stated that we’ve been on the waitlist for almost 20 minutes and people are being sat before us. She said she could seat us now. No apology for the inconvenience, but actually the opposite. The hostess behind the counter turned her head and either looked, mouthed, rolled her eyes… something to the other hostess because she smirked at her after she turned her head (the one who took my name and phone number) and off we went. On our way to the table the hostess had the audacity to ask how we were doing, yes the one that took my name and phone number. Luckily, my Husband was in front of me and said we were good. No we absolutely were not. Had she asked me, I would have told her how we were. Not good. You could at least sincerely apologize and I would have understood that things happen. So, why the heck am I still recommending this place? Charly. Our server Charly was absolutely top tier and saved the butts of her co-workers incompetency. She was friendly, attentive, and a great server! I had more Diet Coke on the table as soon as I was about to finish my first one… that is when you know you have a GREAT server (one of many reasons). So, thankfully Charly turned our experience from absolutely never coming back to we’d ask to be in her section again if we returned. All in all, hostess’ need more training on how to apologize when they make a mistake (and to not turn your head annoyed with your customers when YOU messed up), while Charly needs a promotion and a raise.
This has to be the busiest Texas Roadhouse I have ever visited. I have stayed at several of the hotels in the immediate area of the restaurant, but usually it is so busy I have not been able to eat there. This trip to the Concord area I managed to arrive before it was packed. It appear they have their regulars, both at the bar and in the restaurant. I can see why. Service is great and the steak I had was perfect for me. The server was attentive and my food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Very satisfied overall.
