Sat down for 15 minutes only 3 other people in the restaurant and the server didn’t come talk to us once not even to get our drinks

Ordered scattered smothered chunked and topped. Let’s start out with hash browns and the ham were burnt didn’t get onions the chili was old. I also had 6 over medium eggs that were way overcooked and 2 orders of toast and got 6 orders. I don’t know who the woman cooking is but she needs replacing. My order is never right when she is there. Her food is either burnt cold or just plain nasty. No wonder the place is almost empty when she is there. She is single handling killing this place. I will never go back in there again if she is cooking. A lot of people were complaining about the quality of here food or their order wasn’t right or the food was not good. My wife and I were there on 11/22/25 around 11:30 p.m. my food was so bad that I sent it back and had it removed from my bill. Signed Jamie Medlin very unsatisfied customer.

Terrible experience at this place waited on food so long it was terrible. First the food i ordered came out burnt, then it was remade wrong, then recooked again which I received a basically raw steak that fell on the floor then my order was recooked again half correct this time and half still wrong then the male manager I think his named was Brice refused to do any type of bill adjustment for the ordeal as a courtesy and he was very rude to all of us. Someone else suggested he do that indidnt ask but this was the absolute Worst experience ever at this waffle house place in concord by the cookout restaurant. There was about 12 people behind counter wine in plain clothes, plain clothes lady sweeping the lobby with two kids there we didn’t know who was employed here at this moment. Just a mess.

Only 5 customers in the restaurant sat for twenty minutes with every table in the restaurant filthy waiting for somebody on staff to do anything to clean up even acknowledge that I had came in as a new customer. In the twenty minutes I was there not a single person on staff spoke to me I witnessed one of the servers yell at an older female server for trying to clean a table telling her she didn't need to be touching none of that and then proceeded to cuss and drop multiple f bombs in front of my for year old
Beyond unacceptable go to any other location except this one

This was the best late night experience I've had at a waffle house. They had a very good group of people working. They got my order right. The place was clean. I was surprised as I've been to this location before and experienced none of that.

If you ever find yourself at Waffle House and get a server named Alvyn, just know you’re about to enter a new level of customer service purgatory. This man acted like taking my order was a personal insult. I asked for hashbrowns with cheese—he gave me hashbrowns with an attitude. My coffee cup sat empty so long I started to wonder if it was part of some kind of survival challenge. At one point, I swear Alvyn disappeared for 20 minutes and reappeared like nothing happened, holding a plate that looked like it lost a fight with the microwave. I asked for a refill, he sighed so loud I thought he was trying to summon a ghost. Honestly, if you’re looking for someone who will make you question your life choices while serving you soggy waffles, Alvyn is your guy. Otherwise, save yourself the trauma and go literally anywhere else.

The team that works in the mornings are excellent. No matter how busy they are they have a positive attitude and are friendly. I'm always amazed at how well Joshua, Anna, and Bryce work together. I'll keep coming back here as long as i live in the area.
The food was amazing, as per a usual Waffle House, but our server was the absolute WORST. Alvyn was very soft-spoken and could barely hear him with my family of four. He took our order begrudgingly and split it without asking... which we just so happened to be splitting, but I've worked customer service jobs and you always ask no matter what. Another notch on the belt was when Alvyn ignored us the rest of the service and completely missed all of our meats (sausage, bacon, etc) and all of our waffles and grits. We had to ask the cooks for them. He also never refilled our drinks. All in all, think of the worst server experience and run with that. The only thing that was redeeming was the cooks that worked with us to make things right. We weren't even offered a discount or anything on our food (that we had to BEG / ASK for) when Alvyn checked us out at the register. Won't be coming here again, and stay CLEAR of Alvyn.

Friendly environment and great services from the waitress. The food is always on point from the cooks and I am never disappointed when I eat there. I personally think the cooks and waitresses deserve a raise.
