I called my food in and when I got there they told me my food was 3 dollars higher instead of what they told me on the phone. 3 dollars is not a big deal but I shouldn’t of had to pay for their mistake. Not only that the flounder was no meant just dry skin basically. The wings where to dry thought they had some spice but never tasted it. Don’t make customers pay for your mistakes I will not be back. First impressions are everything and they failed.

We’ve loved going here for years. The food is just as good as it was 20 years ago if not better. My favorite place to have my favorite seafood…Perch. Love their hush puppies with tartar sauce. It’s TOPS! Wonderful and kind staff, excellent service. Thanks every time Tex’s. They can’t be beat around here in my opinion.

I've lived in the area my whole life and never heard of this place. It's worth the short drive to this hole in the wall, which has been around forever. Great seafood for a small inland town.

Got the combo with shrimp and stuffed crab. Hush puppies and homemade tater sauce were delicious. Cheerwine on tap just made it better.

Sadly, half the meal was eaten when i took the photos.

With the trek up Hwy 70 to get here
Only qualms are that I asked for crispy fries and she never came back to give up the dessert rundown.

Just an overall great place to eat and enjoy friends. Food hot and delicious.

Haven't ate there in a while and decided to pick up some food. One star is too many, we spent over 145 dollars and when we got home to eat it our family sat down and was extremely disappointed with what we received. The steak tasted rancid and beyond spoiled. The greenbeans tasted like the aluminum can that they came out of. Tartar sauce seemed soured, the hushpuppies was bland and greasy almost a mushy texture. We tried to at least enjoy the fries and shrimp but that was disgusting as well. Wasn't able to eat any of it. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere and be able to enjoy your dinner. Beyond disappointed

fantastic food. awesome waitresses. the moment I walked in here I could tell this was gonna be good. really quaint and down to earth restaurant with an awesome home style feel. feels like you're eating at a friend's house for dinner. and the food is top tier as well. we will be coming back for sure!! you've got some new regulars.
