The service was amazing, atmosphere is great, food was AMAZING we had gumbo and shrimp with grits which is something that’s usually hit or miss most places, but they nailed it and we will definitely be back. “Plant Based Boss is a staple to the Hickory community! I go frequently with a vegetarian friend (I’m a non-vegetarian/vegan but enjoy the cuisine) and we almost always get the Olmec Bowl together, sit down, and catch up on months of news for one another. The owners are always pleasant and recommend the best food on their menu. I can’t wait to go every time I do and always leave feeling full. Already looking forward to my next visit 😁“

“Been dying to try this place out for at least a year and finally got the chance! Celebrated a friends bday here. We ordered 2 apps (spinach & artichoke dip / brisket nachos) both were delicious and portions were large! One of us got fish & chips and the rest of us each got a different burger. Everyone enjoyed their food! My burger was the one with blue cheese and it was so so good. I subbed my fries for the parm fries and they didn’t disappoint! I’ve told everyone I’ve come in contact with since to try out 13twenty, and will be back this weekend for my mom’s bday dinner!“
