I found this place during Hurricane Helene. Great place to watch NFL games. Food is good too. Really like their variety and make really good soups for winter!

Crazy drunk people push customers to drink. It was a horrible experience!!!. Managers of the bar needs to watch people's behaviors. People who cannot control themselves under alcohol need to be banned from the bar.

Lots of TVs. Nice space. Service was lackluster... not "bad" per se, and maybe I just got unlucky with the crew, but it definitely didn't leave me with any desire to return. Food was ok. Turkey bacon smash was tasty, but small for the price. Healthy serving of tots ..... but they were overcooked. Right on the brink of burnt. Boo. I also ordered the Carolina Paw whatever drink. I'm not a drinks connoisseur, it tasted ok, but it was FULL of ice and even I could tell the amount of vodka/gin in it was minimal. Skip this place.

It’s so loud in there, like uncomfortably loud. I went in on Sunday, and yes it’s football Sunday so I expect the audio to be in and it to packed. But they had the game audio on so loud that is was distorted and unintelligible. And with the volume that loud, people just scream at each other.
Yes, I get it’s a sports bar and people are in there to watch football, but this was absolute uncomfortable nonsense.

We have waited quite a few months to try this place out because of the negative reviews from the past. We had a great experience and Emerson was a wonderful waitress. They have spent a lot of money on this location, food was good. Service was great. Wings were the best!

Ed’s Tavern at Lake Norman is phenomenal. We showed up unannounced with a party of 30 after a lacrosse tournament and we were greeted warmly. We were accommodated quickly. They allowed us to push tables together. They let the kids have their Our table and were extremely patient with the back-and-forth of kids and parents. Our server was Caroline And she was lovely and patient and helped us the entire time. The food was perfect and hot. The atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful and we thoroughly encourage you to visit. In the future, I would call ahead with a party this big because we were a very large party. 10/10

Alex is the best part of Ed’s!! She is so fabulous with people and always upbeat, attentive, and positive when we visit. We rarely ask to sit in servers sections when we visit restaurants but always ask for Alex here! We love the food and always enjoy our time here.

Pros: The hostess for bingo night. Cons: The bartender—— I didn’t appreciate her comment and the micro aggression we experienced. When we came in we asked for drinks. I had my card out ready to start a tab or pay. As that is the norm to do in bars. She comments, “it is fine as long as you don’t run out.” We were like the only Black people in there. We went there cause it is close to home. We know not to run out. They have a security person at the door. Plus they are extremely cheap and cheaply made drinks. It isn’t like high quality beverages. There were people who sat outside I watch receive drinks and a tab to pay for with no issues. Don’t assume or accuse people of color of possibly stealing. I have no need for that especially with the type of job I have and in this community. It was the first time in my life I didn’t tip. As I left I made sure to mention to her, “I am here to pay for drinks. I didn’t run off.” I been here several times and her attitude the times we have come here has ruins it for me.

We celebrated my late mother on her birthday at Ed’s last night and they made it very special. Our server Jessica was so sweet and attentive. They even covered my dad’s meal just to do something nice for him in honor of mom. Highly recommend!
